If my husband were still alive, we'd be married 38 years in September. Gads...the time sure flies, doesn't it?

One thing about marriage, you sure go on a roller coaster ride! This past weekend, I had a WONDERFUL Saturday, a belated Mother's Day trip and dinner, and we all had a wonderful time. On Sunday, alien space invaders took over my husband's body and he turned into a snarling, stomping, pouting, yelling, tantrum-ing jerk.

Oh, well.

When asked the secrets to having been married so long, I tell people, "Murder is still illegal."

I sometimes kid about my wife's temper, and she's a bit of a bruiser. At one point, someone said "I'll tell Jesse you said that", and I replied cheerfully "Jesse: The cure for teeth!". She was told, and thinks this is charming.

I think the whole thing is adequately summarized by the observation that the punching bag is in her room, not mine.

(In fact, to the best of my knowledge, she's never knocked anyone's teeth out, but she has broken noses.)
