I've found some e-mails from another woman. My husband said that they didn't mean anything. What should I do?

Before being able to answer, it would help to know the nature of the e-mails.

I have been married for 27 years and exchange e-mails with a number of men. They are friends, or people with whom I have had a professional relationship and some men I have counseled. There is nothing at all inappropriate about these e-mails.

I can't help but be a little curious about how you "found" the e-mails.

I agree. if you send an honest but calm e-mail to her stating that you found these emails she sent to your husband and were surprised and that they made you feel uncomfortable since they were from a female to your husband....... That will flsuh out a reaction which will tell you whether she is innocent in her intentions or not.......
besides the issue of whether it is an affair or not, it is just plain inappropriate for females to send emails to your husband without your knowledge............. sheneeds to be friends with you as a couple or bow out and find some more appropriate socail ties.........
