Does anybody else enjoy Maroon 5? I think that the album, "Songs about Jane" is very enjoyable. I can kick back and juist engulf in it- it is so unique, and the songs are so beautiful. My favorite song has to be, "Sunday Morning" it has a heavy Jazz Influence- which I like. I also like "She will be loved" and "This love" because both of the songs are different.

I can't wait to hear more from these guys. I strongly reccomend this album.

that she will be loved song was good the 5th time i heard it (took me a while to like it) and it was good for the next 5... now i'm completely sick of it (stupid radios!)

so far that's the only song i've ever liked by them... harder to breathe was ok... but it's boring....

Oh yes, I know what you mean. The video for "This Love" especially. I had to change the channel to realize it was really just a music video and not a scene off some sexy soap opera.

As for the band itself, pretty unique-- yes. I'll give them that. Alittle too light for my liking though.

I'm slowly coming to realize that most popluar artists can't. I guess image is more important than talent--I guess talent can pretty much be faked in the studio by mixing 100 off takes in a computer. There are very few acts I can stand to hear live. The only one that comes to mind off hand is The Corrs.

My girlfriend wanted that CD for her birthday back in September, so I got it for her one night when we were out as an early birthday gift, as I already had bought everything that I had intended to give her. I was actually dead set against liking them, but I did. I don't listen to the radio on purpose, but you can't help but hear it in day-to-day living, and I agree that they're way overplayed. That's the media for you, though. Find something unique and grind it into the ground until everyone hates it.
