Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. The problem is that far too many people think only about themselves and not about others. If everyone had gotten vaccinated and observed preventive behavior we would have been over with this by now.

Well, if this virus was lab engineered, and with the speed it mutates (Delta, etc.) herd immunity may not not even be a factor. Depending on the cycles of mutation, a person will not become sick, recover, then possess antibodies to fight of the next round. The next round will only be fatal to them.It is called herd immunity.
I am not sure about that. That is what we thought a few months ago. Not anymore. By the way, vaccinations do give protection against variants so far. One can still get ill, but the illness appears to be far less severe with those that are vaccinated and the odds of death drop greatly. One can check for that with hospital records. The unvaccinated are still dying. It is rather rare when a vaccinated person dies, even though they are a significant percentage of the population.
