you guys,LP will be on Saturday Night Live on May 12th.
I grew up on these guys and was hoping this would be a big time for them and tour and such. It's a European tour right now.
The song is classic LP. I love it. I am looking forward to running in to BestBuy on May 15th & grabbing that cd.

Yeah I grew up on LP too but from what I've read from interviews with the band, and the clips I've heard.. I don't like it at all. Not the original LP we, well, I know and love. But I guess we'll just have to see once the album is actually released.

I'm glad Linkin Park came back. But I hate it that they left nu-metal (which really I didn't know what that was). I also hated that the rapper left. It just doesn't seem like the old Linkin Park I used to know. I still listen to a lot of their old songs. I just got finished watching their new video on Comcast: On Demand. It's good that the song was showing all the stuff that's going on in the world, but I wish the lead singer could at least sing like he used to instead of just regular singing. Linkin Park is my favorite secular rock group. Also I heard from someone on this site that one member was a Christian. Is that true?

My first time listening to Linkin Park was late and I mean late in Fall of 2005. I really didn't listen to a lot of secular music when I rededicated my life to God. I was listening to it on Google Video looking up Naruto music videos. When I heard them, I loved the guitars, drums, and Chester and that rapper guy. I don't know his name sorry. But I just loved their music. So far I heard all of their songs from the old cd's. They're cool.

The rapper hasn't left. He had his own side project but he didn't leave - he didn't feature on "What I've Done" but he hasn't left. He'll be on other songs, no doubt.

Which is why they failed, incorporating hip hop and rock is like putting a lion and a tiger together. Doesn't work, the end result is a band with songs that are forgotten a year later.

That's what one of my friends told me. Oh well. I hate that Mike ain't on this album. I just like that new mix of rap and rock. It's different. Man just think about it. If all members of Linkin Park were Christian and they went all gospel rock. They'd still be tight and bumpin'. I do hope God saves my fave rock group.

Yah, the song Given Up drops the F-Bomb a few times. You can find clips of it on youtube. *shrugs* doesn't bother me, but I'm sure the Christians will start blasting them now.

I never heard of them having curse words in their music. Well, there was this one time I heard a friend of mine said they cussed when they were at a concert. Also doesn't their cd with Jay Z have cussing in it? Also I try to stay away from music that has cussing in it. At my job I get bored while I'm doing my clean up, so I just tape recorded some music so I can listen to it to pass by the time. I record Pillar, Skillet, Falling Up, Underoath, some gospel rap, Utada Hikaru ( Japanese Artist), Juanes (Mexican artist), and Linkin Park. I got one song that is Slip Knot but I didn't know it was them when I recorded it. They were talking about Jesus of Nazareth making His way inside or something like that. So I thought it was gospel. Yea, I try not to play music with cussing in it while we have customers and coworkers in the store walking by you all the time. I mean people ask me, "Is that a cell phone?" I say, "No, it's a tape recorder."
