  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.” Psalm 143:10 NIV

What is God’s will for my life? What is my purpose in mankind? These always seem to be big questions in the lives of Christians and even people who are not Christian. I hear much about God’s will for my life from sermons, Sunday school and other fellowships that I attend, but I have noticed that people will shy away from coming right up in your face and saying, “This is God’s will for you.” I’ve heard it said many times, “You want to know what God’s will is for your life? Read the Bible, it is God’s will for you.” I try and read the Bibles some every day; I love the Word of God. I am fascinated at how Scripture in the Bible can be applied to my life today just as it was twenty years ago, and I have changed so much since my early days of first believing. The Bible is truly “timeless and timely.” So, back to God’s will for my life. How do I discover what God wants me to do? As I search the Scriptures looking for some clue, some deep meaning as to how and apply all the parables, all the lessons, all the commandments, all the history, all the success and failures. As I search trying to find the answer to God’s will for my life, I realize, for me is very simple, and in searching for some deeper meaning to everything at times I have passed right over God’s will for me. Here is what I have found out about God’s will for my life, share this with me: Love God with my whole heart and being; Believe in Jesus Christ and the finished work of the Cross; Love my neighbor as myself; Help others. If I truly love God and others, I will not stray too far from God’s will for my life. Thanks for letting me share, God is doing for me what I could not do for myself………..JRE
