Lets talk Resurrection Sunday and what it means to you!:)

Easter Sunday reminds me that Jesus willingly let himself be beat, mocked, tortured, and crucified, for me....me, Tammy, a nothing, a nobody. And I think each year, what have I done since last Easter to be worthy of such a wonderous gift? How many times have I failed him? How many times do I wonder as the song reminds me, does he still feel the nails, everytime I fail?

But then everytime it rains I'm reminded of another song, Healing Rain, and I know, that He's sending it down for me, to remind me that I'm forgiven each time I ask, I'm washed clean again because he knows my heart.

It then makes me wonder if I was ever asked to give one of my children to save the world, a world where so many would reject, mock, ridicule, what would I say?
Or,
When someone hurts me again and again, how many times do I let them ask forgiveness? How many times do I truly give it?

I honestly believe that we will never be able to truly comprehend the gift of Easter Sunday weekend, until we get to where we're going.
I'm grateful for the wonderous gift of Good Friday, I'm so much more grateful for the Miracle that is Easter Sunday, when after giving his life freeely, for me.... he rose to Heaven to sit next to his, mine & your's Father, to wait for us to come Home

I think often of what my manison in heaven will look like, cause I know it's prepared just for me.
