You, Nathan and Split Rock all three together can't explain what I believe -- so I'll just take your ridicule with a modicum of sodium chloride.

You believe in yourself, AV -- in the illusion of your own superiority. Nothing more.

And as I said, it's utterly pathetic.

If we can't explain what it is you believe by now, then you have failed miserably, and have wasted an enormous amount of time here. Either that or you have not cared to state what it is you really believe.

Lol. Quietly dropped the "evidence" after you called me on it? You're serious? The real world and the evidence of the real world are the same thing.

You've stated what you believe hundreds of times. You believe the bible over the real world, over the evidence of the real world, over reality, over that place you live in. And that is stupid.

Nathan Poe is right: you're just playing some silly attention seeking game these days. But then you never did have anything to say that wasn't foolish. Your beliefs are foolish. You think that somehow maintaining your ridiculous opinions despite being continually humiliated and embarrassed in thread after thread here makes you some sort of martyr or hero for god, but it doesn't, it just makes you look stupid. You make claims about the depth of your thinking which are distressing to read. I don't think you've ever said anything here that an average 8 year old couldn't tear to pieces. I sometimes leave you alone because I feel too much like a bully hitting a cripple. And the irony is that all anybody here has really tried to do is show you that your thinking doesn't have to be so handicapped and feeble. Sadly, you seem incapable of listening.

Not incapable -- just unwilling. AV has no purpose except to draw attention to himself. Anything else is a distraction.

What also baffles me is that despite AVET stating that he regards this forum as being like a "war" with many "battles" (threads) fought out with him on the "front lines", he is in no way treating these discussions in the same way one would approach a war. As a former veteran himself he should know that preparation is everything. Before you engage the enemy, you need to scout the terrain ahead, find out where your enemy is, what the best vantage points are, what your opponent's likely strategy will be.

And yet, when it comes to this online "war", he comes into threads completely unprepared and he does not do proper prior research (other than a few tidbits from creationist websites). And not only is he unprepared to face his enemy, he then claims that he is proud of his ignorance of his opponent's views. If this was a war, his commander would have fired him long ago.

Oh, I think I'm well-armed with the Bible, basic doctrine and even some presupposition.

Like I say, I correct you guys more than you correct me.

lol nothing you believe is basic doctrine, it is all twisted semantic gibberish held together with pixie dust.
what you are armed with is an impenetrable shield of willful ignorance.

Like I say, I correct you guys more than you correct me.
what a complete lie. you correct people on stupid quibbles that flow from writing posts on a webforum, IOW stuff no one cares about.
we correct you on doctrine and your knowledge of science, which you choose to ignore because you like your shield of willful ignorance.

And even when I called you on it, you misrepresented what I actually believe:
You, Nathan and Split Rock all three together can't explain what I believe -- so I'll just take your ridicule with a modicum of sodium chloride.
as i've said before, you don't even know what you believe. you just believe conflicting idea so you can keep believing you aren't wrong about a topic, while constructing a flimsy connection between the two beliefs.

basically you try to burn the candle at both ends and everyone but you can see how utterly stupid that is.

i see, so you aren't even going to argue? you admit you just make it all up as you go along, without thinking about what one belief will do to the other?

at least you are honest.
To be honest, Reverend, you sound to me like you're being a little too aggressive here.

Coming on here with both guns blazing and accusing me of not knowing what I believe (including basic doctrine) out of the blue like this is ... well ... childish.

I don't think even Nathan Poe would agree with you on this.

To be honest, Reverend, you sound to me like you've been tipping the bottle a little -- (and please forgive me if I'm wrong).
nothing like an ad hom that makes no sense at at eh? do you have that short of a memory?

lol it is an internet forum, how in the world am i "coming on with both guns blazing"? you know full well i've told you that before, and with good reason. where am i accusing you of anything? i'm posting an observation of the way you argue. when you post how the world can be old yet young, you show you don't understand language nor do you understand what you are saying when you shift to arguing with people about the age of the earth.
this is why i say you don't know what you believe, because you fail to even look at what one belief does to another, there is no structure to your beliefs, nothing makes sense in light of the other things. to me it comes off like you just want a defense, even if that defense undermines your other beliefs.
then again i've found that a lot of christians view the world that way, they don't critically think about what they believe, only that they need a belief to fill the void that is the question.
by the way nice non sequitur how is what i said "childish"? oh right, you have no way to refute what i said so you just throw out some insult.

I don't think even Nathan Poe would agree with you on this.
as much as i like nathan for his posts, appealing to someone else's opinion of what i say doesn't mean jack squat to me.
he can believe what he wants just like anyone else.

Oh, I think I'm well-armed with the Bible, basic doctrine and even some presupposition.

When you are talking about the sciences though, you need to know a little bit more than what's in the Bible. The Bible doesn't say anything about tiktaalik, archaeopteryx, mutations or natural selection, so when you come with the Bible alone, you come unprepared as you are completely ignorant of the fine details of the issues that you take it upon yourself to dispute. You may as well be turning up to your first job in a teabag factory saying that you didn't bother to read the manual they sent you, because the Bible is all you need.

Like I say, I correct you guys more than you correct me.

Yes, we all know you think this and Dunning and Kruger have very good reasons explaining why it is you think this.
