I guess I have settled in a life of needing proof before I believe in something. If I die and see there is a heaven and God, then I will instantly believe. If that were God's main requirement, then it should be no worse than a deathbed confession.

There's no theoretical reason why this can't happen, but I would caution you that heaven isn't a location so much as a state of mind. Eternal life is experiencing the happiness of God through God's Holy Spirit (Rom 14:17), and that means you need to have the state of mind 'intentions' regarding love for others that God/Jesus has. So if you haven't practiced having the love of Christ in this life it will be hard to suddenly switch. Eternal life would mean entering into a state where we have the loving intentions of Jesus. Jesus was willing, for example, to die on the cross for our sins, so this is quite a jump from where we are now.

Just as our universe ever since the Big Bang has been cooling down overall, and because of entropy will not be able to heat up again overall without some external source of power, so anything physical which had always existed outside of the universe would over eternity past have become and then remained too cold to ever give rise to the extremely-hot Big Bang singularity only some 13 billion years ago.

Special relativity is for fast moving objects (Newtonian energy concepts break down).

Special relativity is for both fast and slow moving objects. Newtonian energy concepts don't break down with fast moving objects.

General relativity is for massive objects.

General relativity is for both massive (as in very large) objects and small objects.

(Newton's gravity can not handle things like frame dragging.)

That doesn't matter because Newton's gravity equation is just an extremely good man-made approximation, not an always-exactly-precise law of the universe itself, and so it can be corrected in instances by general relativity. In the case of frame dragging, Newton's equation is off by only one part in a few trillion.

It is still an open question because it has never been proven that general relativity doesn't work everywhere including at the quantum level and at black hole singularities.

While entropy was discovered by people seeing how much useful work they could extract from available energy, the concept of entropy itself still applies to a hot plate on a counter eventually cooling down to the surrounding room temperature, no less than entropy applies to the overall temperature of a steam turbine decreasing unless energy is constantly fed into it. Even Maxwell admitted that entropy is assured, that it cannot be stopped by any merely-physical means. His opening and closing of the hole between the boxes only for certain particles is not done by any act of nature itself but by a demon knowing what he is doing and performing the work of repeatedly opening and closing the hole only for certain particles: this unnatural work done to counter the natural effect of entropy means that there is actually no natural violation of the law of entropy. Also, the demon would require some energy-consuming device in order to be able to measure the particles to see if he should open the door for a particle or not. So, again, entropy is not violated.

It does violate the first law of thermodynamics because gravity itself is not negative energy, but only the curvature of spacetime.

It cannot happen in a region of no matter, because of the first law of thermodynamics.

The fact that a star could theoretically be taken apart one atom at a time doesn't change the fact that a star cannot suddenly appear out of nothing, because that would violate the first law of thermodynamics.

That is a circular argument, saying that gravity must be negative energy because a star can appear out of nothing because gravity is negative energy.

In spooky action at a distance, the communication occurs instantly, whether the particles are billions of light years apart or not. It doesn't change what a particle did in the past, in the sense of before a measurement is made in the present, because no change can occur until a measurement is made. Nothing about spooky action at a distance means that the past can be changed, because it has already happened. What spooky action at a distance means is that information can travel faster than the speed-limit of the speed of light set for everything physical by Einstein's special relativity. So spooky action at a distance requires non-physical, as in spiritual, communication. Thus the word "spooky", which means relating to "spooks", which are ghosts or spirits.

Even if the universe extends beyond what we can see, it still cannot be infinite, because of the reasons stated.

Actually, the kinetic energy doesn't come from gravity itself, which is only a curving of spacetime, but from the zero-point energy which fills all spacetime and which consists of the lowest possible kinetic energy of particles. Because of gravity's slowing-effect on time, time passes more quickly above a falling object than below it. Because of this, there is more time for more zero-point energy to pass through the space above a falling object than below it. This causes there to be more pressure from the zero-point energy above a falling object than below it, thus causing a downward acceleration of the object from the frame of reference of an observer. Once the object strikes the earth, its kinetic energy is converted into heat, which ultimately disperses and cools down to the point where it becomes zero-point energy again, thus completing a cycle. In this cycle, the energy involved always remains positive, and there is never any violation of the conservation of energy.

The gravity well of the Earth subtly changes when an object falls down.

That's right, but the earth's gravity well itself is not energy, but only a curving of spacetime.

I think we may be agreeing here but using different words. I agree that virtual particles do not have positive energy.

Half of the virtual particles have positive energy and their partner virtual particles have negative energy. They appear together out of the zero-point energy only momentarily and then disappear, leaving behind nothing at all but the original zero-point energy from which they arose.

However, they do affect things through gravity and other effects. (This may not be the part we agree with.)

Zero-point energy would very slightly increase gravity, just as all energy/mass increases gravity, but the pressure of zero-point energy moving through all space far outweighs its slight increase of gravity, so that it is zero-point energy which is winning the battle against gravity by causing the universe to increase its rate of expansion.

We don't know enough to really talk about "before" the Big Bang, but it is recognized that the "time" dimension is probably very different.

But there still has to be another time dimension which pre-existed the one created after the Big Bang, or else the Big Bang would never have occurred, for it was a change to the Big Bang singularity, and no change can occur without time.

Here is a small blurb on this from "Ask an Astronomer."

For there to be quantum fluctuations in the Big Bang singularity, there had to already be some dimension of time, for a fluctuation is a change, and there can be no change where there is no time. Also, it is a perfectly good question to ask what came before the Big Bang singularity; indeed, it is a necessary question because of the laws of entropy and the conservation of energy. And because of these laws of science, there is no excuse for anyone, especially scientists, not knowing the answer: the Big Bang singularity could only have come into existence by God's eternal power (Romans 1:20).

Im just wondering....if God did tell you the lottery numbers....would you accept Jesus as your saviour?
At that point inmy life, I had been baptised and believed that Jesus was my savior. I was just starting to have doubts. So if I got the lottery numbers, I would have stayed a believer.

But knowing myself, I would have attemoted to find out which version of God was the right one. Was He the horrible one from the Old Testament? The more forgiving one from the New? Was He Allah? If he answered me again, then I would know which path was the correct one to be on. If not, then I would probably have fallen into some liberal version of Christianity.

We are cooling down due to expansion of the universe. If the universe were to contract again, we would become hotter and hotter. Entropy would reverse as there would be fewer states for atoms to be in until the universe returned back to its starting point. (If the Big Crunch model were to happen, which currently does not seem likely.)

Special relativity is for both fast and slow moving objects. Newtonian energy concepts don't break down with fast moving objects.
Newtonian kinetic energy is 1/2 m * v^2. Relativity energy is (gamma - 1) * m * c^2, where gamma is 1 / (sqrt(1 - v^2/c^2)). Newtonian kinetic energy is invalid for high velocity.

It is still an open question because it has never been proven that general relativity doesn't work everywhere including at the quantum level and at black hole singularities.
At the quantum level, people look for the "gravitron." However, detecting and explaining the particle has not been easy. This is something that is being worked on.

Ultimately, entropy is a statistical argument based on how things are currently working in our universe. It means that statistically, particles will gain or lose order over time. This means that with some probability, entropy will reverse naturally. It also means that there are cases where the statistics favor a reverse of entropy like Big Crunch or creation of a universe.

That is a circular argument, saying that gravity must be negative energy because a star can appear out of nothing because gravity is negative energy.
There are other arguments based on the first law. One example is to imagine a hollow planet collapsing on itself. Energy is gained from the collapse. Gravity is the same everywhere before and after except the inside of the hollow planet now has a gravity field where it had none before. So by conservation of energy, the positive energy of collapse came from the netaive energy of gravity.

"Instant" is a relative term in special relativity. If something is "instant" in one frame, it is not in other frames. Spooky action at a distance showed that information was not transferred, but communication was happening in what we would call a causal relationship.

Quath:
We are cooling down due to expansion of the universe.

Because our universe is cooling down, if our universe arose from within a larger physical multiverse, this multiverse must be overall cooling down as well. And if this multiverse had existed from all eternity, over eternity past by creating hot universes which cooled down and stayed cool, the multiverse would have cooled down to too low a temperature to give rise to the extremely-hot Big Bang singularity only 13 billion years ago. So even if there were a multiverse from which our universe arose, it could not have existed from all eternity, but had to have been created by the eternal power of God (Romans 1:20).

Our universe won't contract again; its rate of expansion is even increasing. It will eventually become so extremely cold everywhere in the universe that no life will be able to exist anywhere in the universe. So if mankind is to exist forever, it needs God to exist so he can put mankind in a new universe after this one wears out (Hebrews 1:10-12).

Newtonian kinetic energy is 1/2 m * v^2. Relativity energy is (gamma - 1) * m * c^2, where gamma is 1 / (sqrt(1 - v^2/c^2)). Newtonian kinetic energy is invalid for high velocity.

The Newtonian kinetic energy equation is valid for high velocities. It is only when velocities become significant fractions of the speed of light that the Newtonian kinetic energy equation must be adjusted by relativity. This is okay, because the Newtonian kinetic energy equation is simply an extremely good man-made approximation, not some always-exactly-precise law of the universe itself that somehow "fails" at certain velocities.

At the quantum level, people look for the "gravitron." However, detecting and explaining the particle has not been easy. This is something that is being worked on.

At the quantum level, there is no need for gravitons to exist, for gravity is simply the curvature of spacetime.

Even if our universe came out of a prior Big Crunch, because our universe will never return to a Big Crunch, we are back to the problem at the top of this post. By his eternal power (Romans 1:20), God either had to have created the Big Bang singularity or created a hot multiverse recently enough so that it could have given rise to the Big Bang singularity.

Because the total mass of the hollow planet would remain the same before and after its collapse, its gravity would remain the same. Gravity is not negative energy, but simply the warping of spacetime. The kinetic energy that would arise during the collapse of the planet would not come from gravity itself, but from gravity's time-warping effect on the zero point energy. At the end of the collapse, the kinetic energy would be converted not into gravity, but into heat as the matter of the planet's shell struck itself and came to rest in the center as a ball of hot matter. And this heat would eventually cool down enough to become not gravity, but zero point energy.

Spooky action at a distance requires communication to occur between two distant particles at an infinite speed. That's why Einstein thought it must be wrong, because by his law of relativity nothing physical can travel faster than the speed of light. What he didn't realize is that in cases where his relativity equations require infinity, they could simply be pointing to spirit, and so to the eternal power of God (Romans 1:20).
