Kingdom Hearts (3)[OPEN]

Zi looked away. "My lapse in judgment does not alter the future events that I've witnessed. In fact, my lack of judgment is what will bring this all to an end. But that is not important now. What is important is that you finish your business here and leave as quickly as you came."

Zi looked back at Aaron, then at Nami. "Do you remember, when I first appeared to you, and I spoke of Nami's life being in danger? It still is." He zoned in on Nami now. "Nami, you are the reason all of this is happening." He paused for a moment to let it sink in. "You are the reason that the Hollows are appearing everywhere, and you are the reason that I was sent."

Zi bent down and began drawing in the sand. "All worlds are coming to their final chapter. All things are coming to a close. All loose ends will finally be tied up."

Aaron's eyes narrowed.

"What are you, some kind of prophetic god now? We don't need you or Zi's help. We;ve saved the world many times of our own accord. It was not Fate's choice.", Aaron said.

Zi stopped drawing and stared at the ground. "If that is what you wish." He stood and turned to Nami. "I am free from my contract through 'death.'" He then turned his head to look at Aaron. "It has been my pleasure, Master Aaron. Good luck."

A necklace appeared around Zi's neck, and the chain broke. It floated over to Nami and landed at her feet. Zi turned and walked down the road, turned around a building, and walked out of sight.

If one looked closely, the drawing in the sand showed a swirling circle with tentacles extending out of it, and a single person being pulled in.

The necklace that Zi had thrown to Nami began to glow, and then three flashes emanated from it. Suddenly, a large portal accompanied the next, much brighter, much longer flash. The portal was black with swirling green tentacle-objects coming from it. Flashes of light and darkness came from the portal, and a strange whirring sound came from the inside.

The small boy from before stood up shakily and muttered, "Daddy's portal..."

In the past, you have hijacked threads, and basically made a bunch of rndom plots that make no sense where the story is at, forcing people to get off on another plot line, which leads to more plot holes and unasnwered questions, leaving a dead RPG. This makes you a "Thread Killer". In the direction this RPG is going, the characters, their emotions, and their ties togethr are becoming so tense and the RPG is becoming so intricate that you would destroy it almost instantly.

And, also, your RPGing ability usually involves the use of one-liners, while most of us are higher level, usually using paragraph length posts (only under terrible circumstances, or nnot much happening dow we resort to one-liners). Thus, your skills are not needed.

Mountaindog: Currently, we are in Radiant Garden (Hollow Bastion). Rapture mentioned Cloud when we were fighting in Traverse Town, but he and Leon haven't appeared since. We kind of run off of our own universe, and only a few times have characters from the game been mentioned. The villains, however, remain, and Merlin so far is the only one who has appeared in a while. )))

Aaron looked down at her. She was alright. He had a feeling she would be.

"If what Zi...Or, Vangel, rather....Says is true...Then the destruction of all worlds is iminant.", Aaron said. His eyes narrowed. How could this be? In all of history, in everything he had learned while in Organization 13--none of that would have ever prepared him for this.

Aaron stood shakily. "Kioki is gone.", he said. He had vaporized her, literally. And that act had made Zi angry. Or rather, it was him torturing her. In reality, Aaron didn't know why he had done that--maybe it was because Hollows were ruining people's lives. Hollows had the amazing ability to cloak themselves in a world between their dimension, and Kingdm Hearts, similar to that of Betwixt and Between, the entrance to the World That Never Was.

But, Aaron didn't know that. They just seemed to appear voluntarily in an area of there own will. And now with the Super-Nobodies Pisces and Mamos running around, they would no doubt be forcing the transformation of ordinary Hollows into Super-Hollows.

Aaron then had a realization. The Hollows were working for Zexion. He just knew it. Why else would the Hollows be appearing in fixed areas were Nami and Aaron were?

Because Zexion told them to.

Zi walked into the alleyway where he had fought Olaf and the boy. The swirling portal still crackled with electricity. Zi sighed and walked through it, instantly appearing in Enuch's throneroom.

"So, Vangel and Zi-- tut-tut, you finally decided to return." Zi/Vangel gritted his teeth. In a voice that sounded like both of them speaking at once, he said, "I don't know who you are, but you are not the Time Lord." The man on the throne smiled, and snapped his fingers. Zi/Vangel suddenly felt a blow to the back of his head, sending him sprawling forward to the floor. "You are an intelligent fellow, Vangel Ion. I thought none would be able to see through my disguise." The man, who looked like the Time Lord, suddenly morphed and his shape warped, turning into...

"Zexion... I should've known." Zexion chuckled and walked down the dozen stairs that came from his throne. He put his foot on Zi's/Vangel's head and had a look of victory on his face. "I planned for everything, fool. Except for you escaping from your imprisonment, with the help of some relatives..." Zexion clapped twice and two large black and white beings lifted Zi/Vangel, holding his hands behind his back. "No matter... I will destroy you without a problem, now that you don't have that necklace of yours."

Zi/Vangel spat in Zexion's face, to which the man replied with a roundhouse to the face. Zi/Vangel coughed up blood and glared at Zexion. "All that necklace did was keep my powers stable. I don't need it to kill you." Zexion laughed. "Of course you do, Vangel. Now that Nami has it, I'll be able to track them wherever they go, just like I did when you were with them. You were the key to their destruction all along, Vangel Ion."

Zi/Vangel looked at the floor in disbelief. He had known that what he was doing was wrong, but he had no idea it was at this level. "Take him away." The large creatures carried Zi/Vangel into another room, where he couldn't see a foot in front of his face. Meanwhile Zexion returned to his disguise as the Time Lord and sat back on his throne. "And now to wait for them to enter into the portal the necklace has made."

((Dun dun dun... And you're right, it is getting tense. ))

"Zexion's attacking from a distance with the Hollows. He doesn't want to give involved himself unless it's absoulutely necessary.", Aaron thought aloud. Everything was coming together.

Aaron turned to the portal. "I'm going in. Nami, you stay here. I'll be fine. Just rest.", Aaron said. Without another word, he stepped through the portal......



.....and appeared before the Throne of the Time Lord.

"Enuch.", the name appeared in Aaron's mind. Aaron's eyes narrowed. This didn't seem right, somehow.

"Welcome, Aaron, tut-tut.", Enuch said. Aaron made a slight bow. "Thank you, Enuch. I have a few questions for you.", Aaron said.

"Speak.", Enuch responded.

"Why are the world's collapsing? It can't be because of the Heartless. The Hollows have become much more common.", Aaron said.

"Yes....It is not the Heartless. The Heartless and Nobodies have all but disappeared. The Hollows devour them in their quest for power. The Heartless have retreated to Kingdom Hearts, and the Nobodies have retreated to Betwit and Between. The Hollows mantain dominance....Because Zexion created them....", Enuch said.

"Zexion created the Hollows?", Aaron asked.

"Yes, magnificent creatures....The Hollows are born in a fusion chamber that distorts space, and fuses them together. Horrible, really. It's like forcing two magnets together. You could go as far as to say that Hollows are complete beings--they have the hearts from a Heartless, and a soul from the Nobody. But, the heart and soul don't match, which is why the Hollows constantly bi-link to people. After so much exposure, the person dies, and the Hollow devours the heart. Most people don't know it's even there.", Enuch said.

"....What would happen if a Hollow found it's original heart?", Aaron asked.

"Then a Super-Hollow would be born. Thts' how your friend Kioki, Pisces, and Mamos came into being. Their masks crumble away, and they appear almost human. But they seal their powers into the weapons they carry, and upon releasing their powers, they can take their Hollow form once again with added power.", Enuch said,

"So, when we fought them, they were actually fighting under a limit?!", Aaron shouted.

"Precisely. And now, because of that girl, all worlds will end. You should kill her now, Aaron. If you really love her.", Enuch's voice turned demonic.

"what...? Why would I do that? We can still save the universe!!", Aaron shouted.

"There is no hope, unless you kill her.", Enuch stated simply.

"No...YOUR NOT ENUCH!!", Aaron shouted, drawing his sword.

"what is this treachery? Guards, seize him!!", Enuch commanded. To large creatures with black and white skin approached Aaron--one had a large jawbone underneath his face--the other was shorter, and had part of a mask over his left eye. Super-Hollows.

Aaron turned towards them, and slashed at the larger one, knocking part of the lower half of his jawbone off. The smaller one immediately rushed in, and placed his two pliant fingers to Aaron's chest. Aaron was immediately bound by a spell that disabled his movement.

"Tut-tut....This disguise is so futile.", enuch said. He stood, and a wave of darkness washed over him, as he transformed into Zexion. However, he looked different--He had long claws on his hand, and his skin had turned pale black. He had a long tail with a rattle at the end. There was part of a white mask over his mouth, that muffled his speech.

"Tsk, tsk, Aaron...You always were weak. You were never interested in power. In my quest to discover what I was, I did many experiments, using Vexen as a puppet to do my dirty work. It worked. I discovered the Hollows. As a last chance for my research, I turned myself into a Hollow, just recently...My mask is proof of it. I briefly lost my sanity, and went insane, devouring Heartless and Nobodies on a rampage...but, then I regained it by devouring a single heart....and my mask crumbled away, and I reverted to my original form, witha tail and claws. Now do you see the level of power I have attained?", Zexion asked.

It was true. Zexion not only had the power of the dark Kingdom Hearts on his side, but he also had the powers of a Super Hollow.

A scythe appeared in Zexion's hands, as black as his skin, and almost twice as tall as him. The blade was rigged,k and had a skull on the hilt.
"This is the Deathscythe. It has the interesting ability to make whatever is cut by it to experience a like-like illusion of death for 72 hours.", Zexion said. He charged, swinging the scythe back, as he swung at Aaron. Aaron raised his sword, and blocked the scyth, but was instantly thrown into the left wall.

As Aaron stood, he realized it was much more difficult to lift his sword.

"It also has the ability to make whatever it hits twice as heavy. Right now, your sword is twice as heavy as it was a moment ago. It will slowly become too heavy to lift, and you'll be defenseless.", Zexion said. He charged again, only fasted this time, and Aaron sturggled to block. As the blade hit Aaron's sword, the tip also slashed across Aaron's arm, making it heavy as well.

Zexion leapat back, and his scythe disappeared ina flash of light. Extending his arms, sveral blackish-red blades of energy appeared around him.

"devils' Dance!!", he cackled. throwing his arms wildly as he stepped along ina dance like motion, the energy blades were sent towards Aaron. Aaron would dodge or block one, but another would spin around and slash his arm. As he blocked them and got hi, he realized they had the same properties as Zexion's scythe. Both of his arms were four times as heavy than they were before, and his sword was eight times as heavy.

"how can I beat him...?", Aaron gasped.

"Excellent. The necklace is here. The lock has arrived, now if only we had the keys....", Zexion said. He then opened his palm, and muttered a strange sutra. Black energy appeared in his hands, and cackled towards Nami. It wrapped around the shield, compressing it, and forcing it into the shape of a coffin.

"The Black Coffin.....That should hold her for a while.", Zexion said. Aaron created two orbs of flame in his hands, and extended them outward, sending a blast of flame towards Zexion, but he merely blocked it with his scythe, the black metal repelling the flames.

"Arcana Skill 45: Black Judgement.", Zexion said. Raising his hand, a dark cloud appeared over Aaron, and then shot several lightning bolts upward and downward, hitting Aaron repetadly.

"It's subtle, but it works. With my power, you will be killed easily.", Zexion said. Aaron could barely lift his arms, or his sword now, he had been sliced so many times by the scythes.

"The effects won't wear off for another few hours. I've disabled your arms. I might as well disable your legs!!", Zexion said. He swung his scythe, creating another scythe-shaped energy blade. Aaron tried to run, but the weight of his arms weighed him down, and he tripped, the scythe grazing his left leg. Aaron struggled to inch along the ground, before another promptly sliced his leg.

"It's over, Aaron....", Zexion said.

Zi/Vangel woke up in a dark room. He stood and rubbed his temples, frustrated. It's over... the prophecies are really coming true... Zexion is going to end the universe! "Now, now, Vangel, let's not jump to conclusions. There is still one thing standing in his way." Vangel's heart leaped with joy as he turned and saw the real Time Lord. "E-Enuch?" The Time Lord silently nodded with a smile, and tapped his staff twice. Behind him, a portal opened that showed Aaron and Zexion fighting. "Master Aaron!" Zi/Vangel wanted to rush forward, but he knew that this was not a transportation portal. "What help am I now, Enuch? Zi and I are stuck in this single body. We're not complete."

Enuch smiled again. "You forget your contract." Zi/Vangel raised an eyebrow. "You technically were killed, Vangel Ion. You died. Your body literally stopped living." Zi/Vangel gasped, then it finally clicked. "You mean--" "Yes. Your contract is null and void, and that means that you are able to help your friends." Tears began to well up in Zi/Vangel's eyes. "But Zi and I are still--" "Would you like your body back, Vangel Ion?" Zi/Vangel hesitated. "Yes."

The Time Lord tapped his staff again, and Vangel's body slowly appeared, floating next to him. "Here you are." Vangel's heart ripped from Zi's body and levitated over to his own, entering his chest. Vangel lightly landed on his feet and opened his eyes. "Welcome home, Vangel Ion." The Time Lord smiled. Zi shook his head slowly, as if he had a headache. "That feeling is back..." The Time Lord stepped towards Zi. "You want a heart, yes?" Zi looked up. "Yeah..." The Time Lord nodded to Vangel. "He has your heart." Vangel sighed. "We've become two different minds, Enuch. We can't become one. You know that." Enuch nodded. "I have been given the right to give you your own heart, Nobody. If you wish for it." Zi gasped. "I want it! Give it to me, please!" The Time Lord smiled and turned to Vangel. "I have also been given permission to give you a new soul."

A soul and a heart appeared, the soul entering Vangel and the heart entering Zi. "You are now fully complete, both of you." Zi began to quietly weep. "Time, unfortunately, is short. The final battle is on the horizon. You both know what you must do. Destiny has come." Vangel and Zi locked eyes and nodded. "You both are the final piece to the key. You know who the lock is."

Vangel and Zi stepped towards each other and grabbed hands. Their hands began to glow, and Enuch disappeared. Shock waves began to go through the air and ground, and Zi and Vangel had to hold on with everything in them. "Zi! We can do this!" Zi nodded. Multiple explosions occurred, threatening to rip the two apart. The began to feel so much tension that their arms felt as though they were going to tear off. They were hovering in the air now. The room was melting. The darkness was fading.

White. Blinding white. Nothing. And then, Zi, Vangel, Nami, Yami, Aaron, and Zexion. Nami had even been released from her coffin. Vangel looked around. "Where are we?" Zi coughed. "I... don't know." A voice from nowhere in particular spoke, "All worlds have hearts. All worlds begin. All worlds end." Zi looked around. "What's that mean?" Vangel shrugged. Zi again coughed. The voice said, finally, "This is the world of souls. There is one soul tying all worlds." It was then that, atop a large mountain far off, Vangel saw a giant soul. "The soul of all the worlds..." He looked at Aaron, then at Zexion. "Zi, can you hear me?" Yeah. "This place is what keeps all the worlds alive. Without that soul, everything within the worlds will be destroyed. That's what Zexion has had planned!" Makes sense to me. What do we do now? "We fight. We fight with everything in us!" Vangel rushed to block the path to the mountain. "Master Aaron, are you alright?" Just then, the ground below them rumbled and portals began showing up everywhere, Heartless, Nobodies, and Hollows pouring out of them. "This is it, guys. Let's do this!"

((This is... the most monumental moment... of my RPGing career... ))

Aaron struggled to stabd, forcing his body into a standing position, his arms hanging lazily from the intense weight.

"The weight is getting worse, isn't it? It feels like your arms are being ripped off by gravity.", Zexion giggled. He materialized his scythe, and charged forward with lightning speed. Aaron drew his sword with great difficulty, and struggled to block Zexion's strike.

Aaron raised his sword, as Zexion pulled his arm back. Aaron's arms struggled to hold the heavy sword, as Zexion swung. It knocked Aaron's sword out of his hand, and the blunt end of the scythe knocked Aaron away. Aaron shouted in pain, as he struggled to sand up.

Vangel rushed forward to help Aaron, but swarms of Heartless poured into the places in front of him, blocking the way. "Zi!" I'm on it! Zi focused his powers, throwing the Heartless aside with a shockwave of air. Vangel ran to Aaron's side and blocked another of Zexion's attacks with his sword. "Zi! Keep the Heartless away!" Zi nodded and began slicing through Heartless with his Keyblades. Vangel glanced at Aaron. "What's happening to you?"

"Z-Zexion's scythe....It makes whatever it hits twice as heavy....", Aaron gasped. Within seconds, Zexion was in front of Aaron again. He easily batted Vangel away with his scythe, and slashed Aaron's arm, making it much more heavier.

Then, it snapped--the intense weight of his own arm caused it to become dislocated fromn his shoulder. Aaron screamed in pain. He couldn't even fight back--and his legs were too heavy to run.

"Aaron!! Use me!", a voice shouted in Aaron's mind.

"Naron?", Aaron asked.

"Make me appear, like Nami does with Yami!! Use your energy to manifest my soul in the living world!! Just say my name, and I'll appear!!" Naron said.

"Okay....NARON!!!", Aaron shouted.

Zexion swung his scythe again, and then--there was a bright flash, as Naron appeared.

"Alchemy skill number 1: The Ever Changing Earth!!", Naron said. Clasping his hands together, he touched the ground, and a wall of earth appeared before Naron and Aaron.

"Imbecile!! I'll just break through it!!", Zexion said.

"Alchemy Skill 33: Explosive Results!!", Naron shouted. Naron snapped his fingers, skillfully controlling explosive nitrogen gases in the air to the stone wall, causing it to explode, and send a shower of rocks and boulders slamming into Zexion.

"Alchemy skill 17: Superfreeze", Naron shouted. Controlling the air around him, he supercooled it to a freezing temperature at absolute zero, then directed it to Zexion, causing him to be instantly frozen.

Vangel got up from being knocked aside by Zexion and spat. "Is it over?" He then heard Zi yell out behind him, and he swerved around to see Zi being surrounded by hundreds of Heartless, Nobodies, and dozens of Hollows. Vangel tried to use his powers, but then he remembered his weakness. "Miss Nami! Miss Yami! Help Zi!"

Zi was slicing through Heartless and Nobodies like they were paper, but the Hollows were presenting a challenge. Zi wasn't strong enough to defeat the multiple ones that kept batting at him from all sides on his own.
