Well I for one love brother Hovind. AIG is very elitist and i think they've attacked brother Hoving because he's WAY more popular then any of their speakers and plus their building that $25 million museum...Well maybe that's not the reason, but it makes me wonder. Read AIG's stuff, they not only attack Hovind, but also Dr. Carl Baugh, and basically anyone who doesn't present their materail their way. I mean according to AIG, most of Dr. Henry Morris notes in the "Defender's Study Bible" are no good...
Anyway, I'm ranting.
I am a proud Hovind supporter because he is on fire for the Lord and presents creation in a way that NORMAL AVERAGE EVERYDAY people can understand. AIG presents creation in a way that is soooooooooooooo technical that your average churchgoer wouldn't even bother with it...

Personally I do not find the articles from AIG adequate at times to cover some of the techncial aspects raised by evolutionists. I can understand that they have to moderate the level of their articles to suit a range of audiences.

I'm slightly amused at your assessment of AIG's attitude toward Hovind. Here in West Australia, I know of few people who are aware of Hovind. AIG are well known by many and popular among YEC's. Maybe your perception depends a bit on your perspective, or nationality.

Yeah, they go after Walt Brown, Carl Baugh, Don Patton, Hovind, and they in a round about way go after Henry Morris.

It is expensive but with his money saved from evading taxes or conned from his followers I'm sure he can afford it. Of course he might have had to surrender his passport though.

Why don't you get the heck off the creationist forum? You are making nasty SERIOUS accusations against a brother in Christ

There you go again. Calling a brother a liar is serious
He was not found guilty of assualt. If you researched your claims before smearing a brother, you'd know it. He's never been prosecuted for anything regarding taxes. stop the accusations

I'll retract the found guilty on assault.

He was charged with assault burglary and battery. The charges were finally dropped.

He has been caught lying so many times it's a joke even amongst other Creationists. Hence AIG lambasting him repeatedly.

Since you shall complain about 'debating' I'll leave.

I'm not mad about debating. I'm mad about charcter assasination. That's pretty nasty and lowdown to bring up assualt when the charges were dropped. He went through an explaination of what led to the charges on his radio show.

Charges are not always dropped because it didn't happen. It's not an acquittal you know. Yes thats an unbiased source his radio show. Anyway, his radio show is in trouble with the FCC, some parents filed a lawsuit about it being detrimental to US education standards and being 'educationally obscene'. I think the suit was filed last month in Maryland.

Well let's just hope if you ever have false charges against you that your brothers in Christ will be as supportive as you!
As far as the lawsuit against his show, SO WHAT???
Of course some scoffer will rally to do satan's bidding and get it off the air. Anyone out there trying to do something for God can expect nothing but trouble.

The reason AIG goes after some of these people is that whether you agree with them or not they are at least trying to put a professional face on creation science. Walt Brown is someone who is either senile or a fool and does harm with his stuff. Carl Baugh is just bizarre. He is more than just a creationist he has some very strange views that belong in the National Enquirer. Patton I am not familiar with but Hovind as others have pointed out is a man who lies to maintain his charade. He is the creationist Benny Hinn or Robert Tilton. Getting wealthy by lying for Jesus. I think Hovind is in for a rude awakening when he finally meets God.

You're going to be in for a rude awakening if you keep accusing people of lying and "getting wealthy" by lying. That "getting wealthy" is a baseless claim and you should offer concrete proof or retract this statement
