  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I really believe that Mr. Jennings could set the table and sweep another week.

I've never seen such a run like this. I just don't know how anybody could root against him at this point. He deserves to be here and as long as he wins out and clears the table he'll still deserve to be there. I'm glad Jeopardy changed the format.

Well...he's done it!

Ken Jennings has now won 30 straight games and earned $1,004,960...passing the million dollar mark. Watching him is amazing. Some people talk about him mastering the buzzer, but you can master a buzzer all you want...if you don't know the answer it's useless. Ken knows everything and the only way I see him losing is if he steps down.

yeah...he's awesome! I think it was over 30 days today...1,050,220 I think...JEOPARDY! is Awesome! yeah...if you haven't heard of Ken Jennings there is something wrong. Winning that much, and knowing that much must be pretty cool...

Ken just sweeps up another week...tonight's game wasn't even close at all, period.

For some reason though he doesn't want to break the game high record just yet. He had another chance tonight with $40,000 heading into Final Jeopardy but only wagered $10,000 for a even $50,000. Thirty-three day champ...wow!
