It seems people are assuming a lot about me because of the questions and points I bring up. So here is the deal.
1) I don't hold a strong position or belief on the age of the Earth. It could be 4 years old or 7 trillion years old. When it comes down to it, I don't care. God did it.
2) God made us too.
3) Evolutionary theory has a lot of holes, such as common descent, and information theory.
4) The Genesis flood is either a myth or is local. Both and neither are likely in my opinion.
5) Biblical geneology is either translated incorrectly or is just straight up inaccurate.
I'm a theistic evolutionist who believes in an old universe less a belief in common descent, and I'm a young earth creationist because "all things are possible with God", but I'm not going to try and prove YEC because it frankly, reaks of horrible pesudo-science. All I need is God's word to illustrate the Earth is less than 10,000 years old. Anything more is annoying and a waste of time.
Hopefully somebody around here will realize one day that their dogmatic approaches to scriptures aren't doing anything to prove their points.
(hmmm.....what does scripture mean.........??????)
and btw...
6) Jesus died on the cross for me. Thank you Jesus.
