What is the process like to get a book written and published? For those of us who may be thinking about writing a book but never have done so before.

You can do a "vanity" press which is how most people do it via Amazon's Kindle Program for an e-book or Create Space for a paper back. My first book in a series was done this way and all the proceeds are going to a homeless ministry we run.

There are also other methods like Lulu Press and such. But if you plan to get it published with a big name label, get with a writing group or find a professional editor and work your way to getting an agent.
