What "kind" is a koala? A platypus? A scorpion? A centipede?
The common ancestor of a spider is not the same common ancestor of us
And how do you know there was one common ancestor of spiders
Could there not have been a,lot of spiders in the beginning? How do you know there was only one type way back when?
You have to go back much further to get to the common ancestor of spiders and humans. The velvet spider genome was sequenced and there are genetic similarities to humans.
That's what that phylogeny tree shows. They all fall into a nested hierarchy, exactly what evolution predicts.
That's not what the evidence tells us.
\Were you taught the mechanisms of how populations of species change over time? Are you under the impression that an ape like species gave birth to a human? Just answer yes or no, I want to see what your understanding of it is.
Because it would be excruciatingly difficult for me to believe about the Bible what you believe; likely impossible. No, it's not about science or evolution. I don't really care that much about evolution--if I had to deny it for the sake of my Salvation I would do it. But I couldn't accept your Bible doctrine, probably not even to save my soul. I am very pleased to hear that you do not find it the burden it would be for me.Im not sure why you had to go there. I did say I look forward,to meeting you in heaven so I certainly don't think you, deny Christ. And I don't think I'm better than you. You claim I'm wrong to believe that Genesis is literal and I state you are wrong to believe it's not. I don't know what onerous burden you refer to but I carry plenty of burdens. I don't think you hate the bible, you don't believe the literacy of it. There's a difference. To me it's,much more freeing to believe what it says than to disbelieve and fall back on man's uninspired writings,to try and justify why not.
So now you're saying a spider wasn't always a spider. You said It was always a spider
All the tree shows is that spiders are all related. It shows nothing about the original spider.
How did the original spider come to be? What did it evolve from?
How did the original spider develop into male and female to produce more spiders? How do you know this?
But they can't interbreed and are not the same species. They are closely related though and share a common ancestor.
What "kind" is a koala? A platypus? A scorpion? A centipede?
Um ... no.Briefly, SN 1987A was a supernova that exploded in the Large Magellanic Cloud in February 1987.
One problem with that tree. If you zoom in, none of the branches
except some of the tips, actually connect. Most are imagined.
Darwin's Tree vs Adam's OrchardWhat on earth are you talking about? Do you not understand how a family tree works? Yikes
Your lack of understanding is truly astonishing. Every species ever born was the same as its parents but its ancestors from many many generations before did not look the same. It seems you are still stuck on the idea that one species will suddenly give birth to another species. This is incorrect.
That is just the phylogeny of spiders. Should we get out the entire tree of life?
Arachnids and before that chelicerate ancestors. The tree of life is pretty cool, huh?
I know you are desperately trying to move the goal posts as the evidence just piles up but the eukaryotic fossil record sexual reproduction first appeared 1.2 billion years ago. That's well before spiders.
So how did they propagate before that?
I wonder how they decided we're going to split and have male and females now and do the horizontal mambo. Why would they change a method that was working?
How do you know that spiders did not always look, like spiders? How do you know this? How do you know that these ancestors were chelicerate? How do you know where, spiders came from? How do you know?
What is the scriptural justification for the notion that "kinds" represent an immutable divine taxonomy? God specifically assigned to Adam, to us, the job of creating a taxonomy. They are of the kind which they were created to be. If you mean do they have
relatives of their kind, I don't know. Is that necessary?
Gen 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Gen 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
No! Don't ask them that. They get confused when you move horsies, moo cows and kitty cats. What "kind" is a koala? A platypus? A scorpion? A centipede?
