I have decided to not participate anymore in the so called Adventist forums here again. The arguments and attacks against our church are getting really stupid and satanic. I haven't got time for such stuff. If you guys do, then help yourself. As Nehemiah said: "I am doing a great work and cannot come down..." I would urge others to follow my blog if you want to know what Adventists do infact believe on an official basis.

You claim to be doing a "great work" by telling our people here not to pay attention to or ignore the Testimonies as well as the writings of Jones and Waggoner when these were the very instruments the Lord used to bring to us the third angel's message in verity!!

And I suppose you are doing a "great work" by accusing those who pay their respect to God's chosen instruments of attacking the church?

I will not follow you neither here nor there.

Same old tactic to get sympathy from supporters in the hope that not willing to see you leave the forum they will beg of you to stay and complain to the authorities to have the so-called "offenders" warned about their "nefarious" work.

I have seen this tactic used by you and others on other adv forums before.

Castaway, somewhere along your learnings, you have made the same mistake that the people of past generations have made regarding the concept of what a church truly is. You are confusing a building with the people that occupy it. It is the reason why no matter what proof has been presented to them, people remain in the Catholic church (and fallen churches in general, really). From everything that I've seen going on in the SDA church, it is the GC that has left the denomination, not us. They have even tinkered with the statement of faith. There's two now. We need to understand and apply what the pioneers have established many years ago.

Now, from my own personal observations, 98% of your posts jump all over those that are not aligned with your personal beliefs.

Good luck locating a forum where 100% of the members consider all of your thoughts to be canon. But even if you would, what a boring place it would be. I'd hate for everyone to agree with me 100% of the time. No compelling discussions - just everyone slapping you on the back for a post well-done.

More people than you have questioned a point that I've made since joining 6 months ago, but I don't get enraged or sore. It's life. I came here to learn with others and allow others to disagree with me and give a reason why.

But if you must go, then good-bye. I'm sure everyone here wishes you the best in the interactive fellowship for which you seek.

More frequently I've seen the critics come onto Adventist forums using a disguise for their name, lie through their teeth and quickly declare that THEY were victorious in the discussion.

I recently watched some videos about presuppositional apologetics and they made some very good points. The biggest one was that it really doesn't matter ab't the evidence when dealing with critics. They already know the evidence and you can "clean the floor" with it. They still won't admit that they were wrong because their inbuilt bias prevents them from seeing the evidence and/or they completely ignore the evidence in the first place.

The Bible speaks quite clearly about these people when it notes that Satan has blinded the minds of the unbelievers (2 Cor. 4:4) and that they suppress the truth in their unrighteousness.

A break is as good as a good bye. But to correct what you say here; people dont have to agree with my beliefs, but when they say that Adventists believe something, or did something, that they actually don't or didn't, then it is appropriate to say something. No one is "enraged" or "sore" just because they say you are wrong. This forum is for discussions on what Adventists officially believe, so when someone comes here trying to paint a false picture of that; it is appropriate to address it with what we actually do believe.

Actually; my intention was to leave, but I have been asked to come back. If you suspect that you are one of those "offenders" then maybe you'd better figure out why.

I told you this would happen. It is not the first time I have seen this tactic used. For quite a long time now there is this individual who is using different handles on different adventist forums and doing exactly what you are doing here, pretending to defend adventism when in reality it is only a cover to ridicule or make of none effect the messages that God has sent to His professed people through the Testimonies of His Spirit.

God has not sent anything that is deliberately misquoted, and used in ways that it's not intended for.

LOL, kinda like your private opinions, eh? Some people don't like Biblical or spirit of prophecy context; they prefer proof text, which is really just pretext.

Correct context shows how you preach a false message here. Atleast; it's a false Adventist message. Maybe you are right - but what you teach here is not what Adventists believe on an official basis. It really is that simple.

No. What i do is compare statement with statement as we have been instructed to do, as Scripture explains Scripture.

"The Testimonies themselves will be the key that will explain the messages given, as Scripute is explained by Scripture." 1 S.M.42.

For years now I have kept this in mind and it has paid off.
