John Titor???

I was reading online and came across this guy names john titor. Apparently hes quiet a famous guy on the net, claiming hes from the future. I cant post links but just google the name john titor. Would believing any of this mean that your beleiving in a false prophet or that its satan or something?

It depends on what he preaches about Jesus.

Honestly, I would not in any sense condemn this man as a false prophet. It is far from our part to judge which names are written in the Book of Life, and I view it as shameful that we often decide that somebody is a false prophet.

In all truth, he's hardly famous on the internet - although he likes to claim to be. He's a joke, like a million other of the internet's jokes. When you can't prove something, you just put it on the internet. A handful of people will probably bite your lure.

Well, I took some time and did a little (very little) reading on John Titor. There are only two reasons I didn’t do any more research on him right now. First is that I don’t have much time. I will look into it more later this evening, time willing. (I might have a date tonight!! ) The second reason is that I got laughing so hard that I couldn’t read any more.

He's from Russia! Given the state of Russia, you'd think he'd bring back some of that wonderful technology to give to his country to help them advance even more!! And if he's from Russia, why did he come back to the US?

Now I have to wonder, if he’s really from the future, why didn’t he give exact dates? These are GENERAL dates. Also, if he REALLY was from the future, wouldn’t it make sense for him to bring some of the technological advances back and give it to his ancestors? I mean think of the changes that have taken place in the past five years alone.

Think about how much better the earth, and all the people in it would be, if we had Hydrogen fuel cells that actually work! And solar power! For him and the people of “his time” it would mean a cleaner environment, right? That would be a HUGE benefit to him.

He could have brought back the cures for diseases, like cancer, or brought us some wonderful inventions, like fossil free engines for our cars.
If he was 32 when he was here, then his parents would still be alive. He could have contacted them and given them some of these advances so they would be rich, and he could have a better life.

The thing I find interesting is that he came back (supposedly) in 2000. Why didn’t he tell anyone about the 9-11 attacks? He could have given the information to the FBI and they would have been able to stop it. And they would have been able to capture the hijackers and get more information from them.

But most of all, you have to wonder why he came back to 2000. Why not go back to 1960? He would have been the smartest man alive at that time. And why did he leave so quickly? Was he limited to the amount of time he could spend "in the past?"

HEY JOHN TITOR!! If you're reading this, come and pay me a visit! I have a wonderful girlfriend. I want to see if we get married, and how many kids we will have. I mean, if I have to put five kids through college, I really need to start saving now!!

To answer your question directly, I think this person could very well be a false prophet. Satan can see certain things that MIGHT happen, but that’s all. Only God can give accurate time tables for events.

Anyone can make predictions for the future, even you or me. But only time will tell if they will come true. It’s 2004 right now. In 2005 we will see if there is a civil war or not. My bet is NOT.

Yes...I think he's bonkers...but I think I'll look him up and see what he's all about because I don't want to bust on someone who is actually not saying anything wrong...but really, I think that time travel is, and will be completely impossible.

Probably he is some lunatic. I think if someone was granted visions of the future (like the apostle John), he would come back proclaiming prophecy in the name of Christ. Even then, we need to be wary. Use your God given reason.

He's not from Russia he said he grew up in Florida. When he says 'thus we won' he's talking about the American Federal Empire being destroyed and the American rebels 'in the country' winning the civil war. In his tale, the US government controls the cities and the rebels live in the country and are led by a farmer general. Its interesting fiction, but fiction nonetheless.

Hi, I'm new here but very familiar with the John Titor saga. He actually posted a few years ago as a time traveler and then supposedly went "back to the future." Anything you read about him right now is just people trying to debunk him. Titor himself is no longer around.

He didn't make "predictions" in the prophesying sense. He claimed to be from the future and thus told things in his "past" to us which would occur in our "future."

I have followed the JT saga for over a year and I don't think it's appropriate to say he is a false prophet. He claims to be "Christian" and yet tells these tales of being from the future.

My personal opinion is that he was entertaining himself by spinning yarns on the internet for others' amusement. I don't think writing fiction is a sin, but passing it off as the truth is certainly questionable. The real damage he did is not ever returning and confessing that it was all a tall tale. Instead, he left many people living in fear that we are doomed to a terrible cataclysmic fate in the next few years. For that, and the time people have wasted trying to debunk him, I think he will some day have to answer.

Sounds like he's been reading the "Amtrak Wars" . Never mind, you will know how accurate he is by the end of next year. Robert Kilroy-Silk (sp?) of the UKIP (UK Independence Party) is all out to destroy the EU. More unlikely things have happened.

i dont care about the next couple of years. i just dont believe him.

i think hes just like any other person, meaning hes normal, and he just wants attention. some ppl (liked me) act up, he says hes from the future.

Like I said, I had only read a little bit of what he said. I was going by the one prediction he made about Russia bombing the US. And if it is the end of the civil war he told about, it must have been one long war.

Either way, In my opinion, we shouldn't listen to his predictions. I think that some of the others that posted here are right, he was just after attention.

It is very easy to tell if he is a false prophet, if any of his prophesies do not come true he is not a prophet of God.
