Good morning all. I have down graded my tv and internet as of 4/16. I don't know how I will adjust to having practically no cable or just local channels. Such problems. LOL

Ruth, good for you! Downgrading can be so hard at first but after a while I bet you won't miss it We only have basic cable here and most of the time I watch stuff on Netflix...it serves me well

Good afternoon. I hope your tests go well, MissRowy. You have probably had them by now. Thanks Shal for understanding about TV and you, too, Tins. I will just be getting local tv starting Thursday. I'm already watching the channels I will have with the new provider. Trying to get used to them. And I do love tv but do spend too much time watching it. Maybe I will get back into some kind of hobby or go out more, too. I hope you all have a nice day.

Been reading through all the posts, trying to catch up.

First off, congratulations James on being "Mod of the month" that is wonderful.

Miss Rowy. I hope your test goes well, waiting is the worse part.

Ruth, I hope you are feeling better, I noticed you were having some "flashbacks" that is no fun. I am sorry you are having to cut back on your cable TV and internet, hopefully it will be easier than you are anticipating. I have not watched TV since I have been here, we do not have cable, and I can not stand the local shows, so, I have been watching all my tapes and DVD's, I have enough to last years and years. My favorite channel was "Hallmark" they have not even heard of it over here.

BB, congrats on your BF getting a job, I know that makes you both happy.

Jimmy and Tins, how are things going with you, won't be long before you see each other again, I know you are both getting excited. Jimmy, that minister that kicked you out of that church was a big jerk, I can not stand "goody-good" ministers like that. Well, we all know how you are, and more importantly, so does our Lord.

James, I can not understand why a church will not baptize you. I have been baptized in a few, none made me wait, I asked one week and the next week, they did it. That is strange.

Well, I am doing OK, I guess. LOL. We are still planning our move back to the states, but some issues have arose so, it may be delayed some, I don't care, it is in God's timing, so, it will be right. To be honest, I don't feel we are financially stable enough at the moment to go anyway. I cancelled all following doctor appointments, I figured if they had me on long wait-lists, there was nothing to worry about, so, why open another can of worms by even going and talking about it in May, I may regret it, but, I am "allowed" ( I hate that word) to make another one time if I decide I want it after all. I would like to have them done in the states, but, well, the fees are going to be off the top of the roof, so, who knows, again, this is all in the Lord's hands.

Autumn is sure here and winter is on its' tail. This morning, there was snow on the higher peaks of the surrounding mountains. It has been getting mighty cold at night as well. The leaves are changing and fall so fast. It still seems odd to me to have autumn and winter in the summer months. LOL

Hey Susie! I'm pretty sure the tests went well. Just have to wait for the specialist to see me before I go home. I am STARVING! Haven't eaten since 6.30 last night

Hi. I hope the tests were okay MissRowy. Susie, my service will be changed tomorrow. I am also thinking about getting cheap phone service with majic jack. Has anyone ever had that? Susie, I don't blame you for cancelling, I did the same thing when they found a small abnormal thing on my breast that they said they have seen for years and feel it's really nothing. Got tired of worrying since they made the appointment for 6 mos later and I felt they didn't see anything serious plus I have no pain. I don't regret doing that.
