hello there and welcomeHi everyone, I am Bonni. I want to join in on as many Friendship court threads as I can and have as much Christian fellowship as I can.
Just looked on my back porch to see what the temperature was and it said 14 degrees. Sure Spring is here. Also nanajojothatsme is that your picture in your avatar? If it is we could be long lost sisters. Look at my profile picture and I think we sort of resemble each other.
You will meet many here, some with your viewpoints and some who will argue against them. The Congregation area is perhaps the safest as far as religion goes but even there you can run into disagreement. If you are firm in what you believe then you can venture into GT which is a minefield believe me. I hope that this site will allow you to find many good friends.Thank You. I moved to a new area after living in the Philadelphia area my entire life for a new job last summer. I love my new job as a Principal, but I just recently have settled on a Church that I feel God had led me to and I haven't really met many people yet. So I thought signing up here would be a great place to fellowship as well.
I have been saved since 1971, but still learning from the Lord everyday. I am basically here for fellowship and not to argue with non believers and believers of other faiths. I figure we will all have our judgement day at the end of our lives or when the Lord returns and from what I have believed all these years I think the Lord will say He was pleased with me here on earth.You will meet many here, some with your viewpoints and some who will argue against them. I imagining there are. I have actually been in Bible Studies with my old Church back in Philly with my Women's Group and we would get into some pretty heated debates over differences of opinions over scripture. It never lead to anyone storming out of the group and we always would end in a good prayer at the end and then some great fellowship time with food and coffee so it was all good.I agree but there are those here also unfortunately but that is the way it is

I really think I will really enjoy it. I love my job as a Principal, but after many of years as a 1st grade teacher this is just my 1st year as a Principal and it is a whole new ballgame and it can be stressful at time. Amen, God is so loving and providing. He has provided me with my dream job that I have envisioned ever since my college days when I declared my Early Childhood Education Major. Yes, being a 1st year Principal in scary but I have almost made it through the entire school year and I have enjoyed it tremendously. I can remember my first teaching position way back when I was teaching 1st grade and I was really scared then as well. So I know God is by my side all the way throughout.I pray you are blessed in your new job and that you will find many people to muplift you and agree with you in prayer. God is good and He will bring people into your life that will uplift you
