God called you to Him as a little child and
than gave you the calling to raise little ones

Not everyone can do this with grace and love. That is definitely from the Lord.
However (because of man's crimes ), my opportunity was not for these 8, but only one daughter.

I understand, as I responded like this often, as have
most small children given the opportunity

I find those pictures very calming

One time when I was travelling in the country there was a yard sale. There were lots of teddy bears and they were in great shape. I had no use for them. They were so cheap so I filled my trunk with them anyhow

The next day I brought them to a day care center, introduced myself and the to staff and brought in all the teddy bears, some were elephants or others such. Then I po hand it to the toddlers. They were so happy and surprised. The children wanted me to stay and play though I had my friend waiting in the car to go somewhere. I played for just a bit anyhow

Yes, & YES - Bravo! for sharing like this with little children, Mark.

My daughter & I have done a similar thing; only she brought the kiddo's home for me to Love.
So
at age 5, spontaneously... she gave one of her stuffed-toys to each child with: Remember, here you are loved ...

Well it was a show. One of my favorites and it starred Michael Landon.
It is about him being an Angel sent from heaven to help people on earth.

Highway To Heaven Season 1 Episode 1 Pilot Part 1 Full Episodes - YouTube
Like I say, IF - knowledge of Hollywood gets you into
heaven, count me lost so
(I had to see who Michael Landon was: oh, THIS character )
I know him from *Little House on the Prairie* I had my daughter watch.

After watching this 15-minute one, I found a 43-minute longer one, &
watched it too. - And THIS very same approach I took as manager of an AFH too.
Highway to Heaven - Pilot episode - Part 1. - YouTube

The State threatened to close it down for all their selfish$harmfulness; but
I promised to restore these people to life... to PRAISE God; & we did. -
When the State-inspector returned but 9-months later,
she gave the facility an "Excellent survey", & she said to
the RN-owner that I was an angel , did she know this?
And the owner said: Apparently so.

The letters of Appreciation, & pictures I have, & stories I could tell, about how we can Bless each others life...
We are all God's Beloved children, every one of us.

Thanks for sharing these movies, Mark

You're welcome
Maybe you could write a book for others edification. Your posts edify me and I could add some stories to it as well.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for appreciating what I share (most people
in here don't); and saying that it's helped you in some way.

Actually, I have been asked by many friends to write several books,
on: Making a Positive Difference, & Helpful Nutrition.
These are on my LIST (of currently 30-items).

Once I get the Medical-bills squared-away, & keep us housed, then I can get back to doing it.
so long as
I also heal, so I can *Iceskate* again...

Then you can make poetry on the ice as well as the paper

When I was living in a Church in Kansas I did a lot of writing and reading. A book a week, there was a huge library in the friary with that slight musty smell of very old books and classics

I remember taking the book of Genesis and writing a 10 page poem about it, some psalms. My sister writes as well. My strong side has been in describing things, poetic description and my sister is strongest and writing up the characters. Together we would be the dynamic duo of writing

I remember writing a poem when I was in elementary school and the priest had me read it during a church service. It was about the blind and infirm, and people who may have a hard time in the world. It is interesting that I ended up doing the ministry I have after being through so many roads and struggles. It was like the little me then already broadcast my calling but I did not know it for so many years after.

So here I am living the dream, making the difference

Well Good, you TWO are all set on the road to your Writing-success.

Me, I don't write Poetry. I have one in CF here, but you would laugh

I am Happy for you Mark; and all who you Serve

I think most of my dreams are still in my Future...

Thanks. Service is a great way to live the Gospels, that and our prayer time with our most merciful and kind Lord

ookay, I'll let you See one of my Poems, in this Contest
here: #12
This poem, just flowed out of me after Easter:

"Heavenly Father, please for our healthful sake...
do not let us the world's foolish mistakes make.
Jesus, lend your listening ear,
so you may our PRAISE about you hear.

How terrible! you had to suffer the fire, so we,
the former sinners
, can now to HEAVEN with you retire.
PLEASE help us, share a bit of your divine Power,
which even is manifested in a flower, hour by hour.

How silently, yet unmistakenly you knock on our heart's door,
to help us Awaken...
to all the Abundance of life for us you have in store.
We LOVE you & want to Honor you so much, Please help us with all such.
Heavenly Father, you are the BEST
of everything especially living with you in REST... Amen
"

I am not laughing like you thought I might

It has some very holy sentiments. Thanks for sharing. I might share some of my poems and they will be very much in keeping with the celebration in here. Though when I was in the friary I got very deep, existential, mystical and such. I like to write love poems and touching ones to.
