God and Jesus being one in feeling, I would quote this verse:

ROM 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!
10 For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

I think the idea is: when we were his enemies, he helped us and loved us...How much more will he help us and love us now, when we are his beloved children...

Although maybe this is human logic, for our sakes. Maybe God's love is the same?

Agree or disagree? Scripture to back up your responses would be great!

It's a discussion we were having at Youth Group, and I'm interested in some of your responses. Well... go for it!
Sounds about right. Once ya come to JESUS, yer on your own against the wolves.

Acts 20:29 "For I have-perceived this. That shall be entering after the departure of Me, wolves, weighty, into ye, no sparing of-the flock" ;

No, Jesus is always there to help us. When Jesus went to the Father he sent us the Spirit of God which is with us forever. He is our direct connection to God.
John 16:
7 But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go. For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
8 And when he comes he will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation:
9 sin, because they do not believe in me;
10 righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see me;
11 condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.
12 "I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.
13 But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming.
14 He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.
15 Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.

Some of you seem to be getting 'interest' mixed up with 'love'. I realize He loves us all equally, but does he have more interest in those who know Him or those who don't?

…God is obviously more concerned about those who do not walk in the path of Life…
But those of us who know Him have the task of helping them to walk in the path of Life… so wouldn’t He be more concerned about us doing that? We are called to "go and make disciples of all nations…" (Matthew 28:19)

I hope I'm making some kind of sense! Help me peoples! (please!!) I thoroughly disagree with that statement about Him having less interest in those who are saved, but am having trouble finding some good arguments for it! (and I have Youth Group again tomorrow with a lot of people who disagree wtih me!!)

Two verses to consider:

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
- Hebrews 13:8

Whatever "interest" has shown you before you came to him, remains the same throughout because Jesus is unchanging.

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
-- Philippians 1:6

Whatever "interest" Jesus had in you when you came to him will not fail or waver but will remain constant throughout your life.
