Is this existence just a holographic game?

This is a weird thought so Im not sure if this is the right area to post but..

If you have seen the movie the Maze Runner, you will understand me. The participants were thrown into a situation where they are being tested. The strange thing is that they have to figure it all out with very little direction and practically no evidence that they are even in a game. All they can see is the anomalys around them.

We have millions of anomalies around us. Millions. They are called unsolved mysteries and they are so fascinating we make books movies and tv shows about them. Yet we never figure them out. Now how can that be?
The latest super-string theorists find binary digital coding in DNA with built-in fail safes which points to a master designer. Of course secular folks say the creator(s) are advanced aliens because they cannot agree with the bible.
There are areas of the earth (4 at least) where gravity is messed up terribly. There are things in space that should not exist. I could go on and on. You get the picture.

So is it possible that we live in a game. Possibly a match between Satan and the father? It happened with Job. Maybe thats really what Job is all about.
The rules are that we can choose anything freely but we are heavily curved towards evil being born in a state of sin so that it is completely natural for us. Then we are put in a world filled with parameters to overcome and its game on. The end game is to overcome the world the flesh and the devil and take on the nature of Christ so that we will be suitable for some unknown purpose in the afterlife.

Could it be?

The idea that this world is like a massive role-playing
game that we engage in does resonate with me. Those
who say that “All the world’s a stage and we are the
actors” might be on to something.

I think the turning point for me in seeing the sense in
that came from something I read awhile back about a
concept called pre-birth planning. I’ve shared this
elsewhere* so I won’t take up space typing it out
again.

I would add that, given this view, the admonition to
“love our enemies” makes even more sense to me,
because, in reality, the other guy isn’t’ truly my
enemy but more likely a celestial loved one who is
playing the role of “bad guy” in my current life for
our mutual learning purposes. Actors don’t fret
over what their characters do to each other (though
they might while they are ‘in character’, a very real
thing). If I keep my wits about me and not get too
wrapped up in the illusion, I stand a better chance of
responding in love rather than reacting in fear/hate/
etc. Not that "bad" things aren't, for all intents and
purposes, happening, but they're not precisely as
they seem, and their impact doesn't threaten anything
about us that's real in the higher sense of the term.
DISCLAIMER: Just a theory, though, not gospel.

For me at present the thing try to to worry about is "god-consciousness" (piety, rememberance, proper path). Whether the universe is a hologram or not is immaterial. Its absolutely and phenomenally amazing though, what scientists can theorise about and perhaps discover. But you cant really put your faith in a multiverse, or a holagram. That would be to make an idol of creation. And thus replace the more beautiful with the less - a logic error I suppose.
