The historic church believed in the inherited sin nature so strongly they would baptize their infants. Something churches today that espouse inherited sin do not do.

That is false. There are several denominations which baptize infants. Many Reformed churches baptize infants, and you will not likely find churches more dedicated to the historic (and Scriptural) position of original sin.

It's not false.
For example the Southern Baptist Convention espouses inherited sin <amongst other historical/reformed beliefs> yet oppose infant baptism. GARB is the same way. (also known as MacArthurites )

At least presbyterians, Lutherans and other Prots alike are consistent - although I'm not sure I see strong scriptural evidence for such.

You said: "Something churches today that espouse inherited sin do not do" referring to baptizing infants. The fact is that there ARE churches today that espouse inherited sin and still baptize infants.

Anyway, it's rather inconsequential as it doesn't really have anything to do with the subject at hand.

I agree with you; but I'm still not sure how my statement is incorrect.

If you had said, "Something SOME churches today that espouse inherited sin do not do" I would have agreed with you, but the way you said it made it sound as though it no longer occurs at all
