  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey everyone. I am considering trying out Napster for a month but I will mainly use it to download Christian music. Was just wondering if their selection is any good or not. Also, do they have any Gregorian Chant? Thanks for your advice!

something from the fridge said:
no idea about napster - all i know is you have to pay for songs off of it.

telstra bigpond (aussie isp) has an online music store, but again, no idea about whether it has christian music on it or not

According to their website, you pay like $10 a month for unlimited music downloads. I like it because it's perfectly legal and they have a huge database of music according to their site.

They do have a sizeable collection(about 100 or so artists in the "Christian" genre)... but whether you would consider it "good" depends on your music tastes.

And yes, they do have Gregorian Chant.

You can search for artists they have here: http://www.napster.com/search_music.html
