well if hes not singing about having sex and cursing every 2 seconds then he must be a christian and love jesus so much, right?

if you have to ask if somebodys a christian then they are if anything a ''christian'' if that makes sense. hes sure not witness's or having any sort of real ministry if he is a christian.

if he is a christian then hes sure not living in his destiny if people have to ask if hes a christian. just my opinoin tho.

hmmm...since Josh sang "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" on his first album, i'm thinking that's he's probably Catholic or Christian

and his songs in general ARE very uplifting and definitely very clean...and no bad words! (with one slight exception that is not in his original CDs)

oh yeah, i want to add...JOSH GROBAN ROCKS!!! (don't mind me...)

This song, sounds very Christian to me, although its not explicit about Jesus, I think its implicitly Christian.

To Where You Are
(Josh Groban)

Who can say for certain
Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
Your memories so clear

Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
You're still an inspiration
Can it be

That you are mine
Forever love
And you are watching over me
From up above

Fly me up to where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile
To know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are

Are you gently sleeping
Here inside my dream
And isn't faith believeing
All power can't be seen

As my heart holds you
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me
Everyday

Cause you are mine forever love
Watching me from up above
And I believe that angels breathe
And that love will live on and never leave

Fly me up to where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
Too see you smile
If only for awhile
To know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are

I know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are.

I don't know to be honest. Look at his lyrics to My Confession:

I have been blind, unwilling to see
The true love you're giving.
I have ignored every blessing.
I'm on my knees confessing

That I feel myself surrender
Each time I see your face.
I am staggered by your beauty,
Your unassuming grace.
And I feel my heart is turning,
Falling into place.
I can't hide
Now hear my confession.

I have been wrong about you.
Thought I was strong without you.
For so long nothing could move me.
For so long nothing could change me.
Now I feel myself surrender
Each time I see your face.
I am captured by your beauty,
Your unassuming grace.
And I feel my heart is turning,
Falling into place.
I can't hide
Now hear my confession.

[bridge:]
You are the air that I breath.
You're the ground beneath my feet.
When did I stop believing?

Cause I feel myself surrender
Each time I see your face.
I am staggered by your beauty,
Your unassuming grace.
And I feel my heart
Falling into place.
I can't hide
Now hear my confession.
I can't hide
Now hear my confession.
Hear my confession

Funny you should mention that song, SDSU. When I first heard it, I didn't listen closely enough to the lyrics, and thought it could be a song about the Sacrament of Penance! Obviously, I now realize Josh is talking about it a confession of love, not sins. However, it could be the latter if the wording was changed ever so slightly...freaky!

i never really thought about those lyrics being something other than a love-related thing...i don't really think it was meant to imply anything other than that...

oh well, i did some research and i found out that he is Episcopalian...i can't say for sure that that's correct, but that's what a website said

Josh Groban's mother is a Christian from Norway. His father is Jewish. Josh defines himself as having both Christian and Jewish roots. He has frequently visited his mother's family in Norway and is close to his father's family in the US.

Josh's very much Jewish looks and Jewish last name has made him a target of anti-semitic attacks. For example, one website that I visited today after doing a search for "Josh Groban" had a message that stated that the only people who were interested in him were "14 year old girls who have crushes on Semitic loverboys like Schwimmer and the like".
