I have changed a lot in these past few months.
And the people around me seem to think it is just a phase..
Simply put, I do not have a care of the things of this world anymore. Material things are of no value to me unlike the past.
Some people think i have become depressed maybe.
But that is not the case.. they tell me it is wrong to live like this. that I have become insane.
I have also written my will, of the little possessions Ii have including the donation of my organs after death. It has caused outraged reactions..
There is no purpose in clinging to the beauty of this world. Death is simply a matter of time and I should be prepared for it.
Why should I live like this world matters?

You are made in the image and likeness of God. You are also unique. God gave you your own "code" and no one else is like you.

I think many here would like to get to know you better. Have you posted in the welcome mat forum?

It is indeed wrong, because such things were done quickly. They ought not be done in such a short span of time; what brought this stuff about? How did it develop?

To be fair, i have always been a sort of a weirdo. That is to say i had always been like this as far as i can remember.
than you can say i listened to people. what they had to say about things. i changed. i become immoral from my teenage years.
now i have changed to how i was before.

Hi there; loving and trusting the Lord Jesus Who died at the Cross for sinners does bring a lot of joy, peace and hope for eternity. There are some wonderful promises He gives: John 14.1; John 14.27.

Once we know that joy for ourselves, it's a joy also to be able to tell and encourage others in such hope and joy through faith.

It's a good thing to draw closer to God, but there's also this false idea that God requires you to give up everything you own and you can't enjoy life with earthly possessions. There were many honorable people in the bible who had many possessions. They were kings, extremely wealthy, had all the women and earthly desires they could handle. God blessed them and they are heroes of our faith.

We are to enjoy these things, but in moderation only. They are not to become our gods and that is what God is against. When we worship money or possessions, then it becomes a big deal. And He will often give you things to help put you in a better position to help serve. And don't forget that God created the beauty of this world and is a picture of Him.

I like how you think.
but i don't think i can live this way.. in moderation.
I am one of those unfortunate people who are either really bad sinners or not sinners.

But, Thank you for your opinion

You're an all or nothing type of person. I'm the same way. I typically go all in or not at all. It always drove my sister crazy and she'd tell me the same thing, that I need to enjoy things in moderation. She was right. To throw all your eggs into one basket and pushing yourself 100% into this because you think you're a sinner unless you do is only going to hurt you in the long run.

You're always a sinner, no matter what you do. There's not a single day we don't sin. He understands that. You're not going to lose your salvation because you have a bad day. You just gotta be more honest with yourself and be who He created you to be, not what you think the church expects, or what you think God expects, because He doesn't expect this.

I'm not trying to tell you to go against something you feel you need to do is right, but just to question if it's really what is expected of you, or if you're just being hard on yourself. Doing it this way, you're only going to get angry at God and draw away when you get bored with it. It's almost like you want to put on a show by going all in, as if to prove something. I could be wrong, but that's how it seems.

I pray you are wrong because we seem to have a similar mind.
it is true i am looking for a reward, only i wish it is eternal.
perhaps that selfishness alone makes me a sinner.

If you do it because you are seeking a reward, it kind of takes away from your intentions, right? You're pretending to be someone your not, hoping to fool God. But He already knows the intentions of your heart. He knows you. That's why He wants you to enjoy life as you are. Use your talents for His glory. Shower people with love.

I know and He loves you too. That's why He gave you a gift of salvation. You can't earn it. He doesn't want you to earn it. It's not by works, the bible says. You can still love God and enjoy your life. Just don't make an idol out of your possessions or worship money.

I just found this thread and it contains a lot to think about. I believe our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ tells us to withdraw from many things of the world. He did that in His life. But He never stopped trying to bring others to God, help others, heal, and was sacrificed on the cross for our sins.

I do not have a problem with anything you've done but ask you, what do you put your faith in? If we are grounded in the world, then try to forsake it, what is left? If it's faith in our creator and the one who saved us then that leaves us with more than we ever had.

I notice that you have the seeker icon. That is good. It means you're searching. I hope it leads you to Jesus Christ. He has changed my life 360 degrees since I accepted Him and was saved and born again.

God bless you and I'm praying for you and also everyone here.

Faithfully,

What's wrong with the planet, the planet is just fine. This beautiful little blue ball floating around the sun. Go outside at night and look up at the stars, and realize that you are not alone.
