is it possible to move things with your mind or is it of Satan?

God gave us minds that think - that imagine - and that are intensely curious! It's part of our basic being to try to do the impossible (see Tower of Babel) whether it's right or wrong. Simply because what we are discussing is labeled as impossible, doesn't mean it IS impossible, nor does it mean that it should not be discussed.

No, it's not an immenant concern as it HASN'T been shown to happen, but yes it is a valid discussion. You may not care - and that's fine. But it's our nature to wonder and to try - and perhaps some things need to be discussed before they are tried.

I have to add my 2 cents on this
Whether you really did it or not, I won't question, because if nothing else, the prophets of old along with some people today have been given strange gifts... like speaking in tongues... that's speaking in a language you don't know! I could see how people could say that's a little questionable too, even though we know it's not.

As far as the list of possible gifts go, i don't believe it's an exhaustive list-- God can gift us with whatever He wants, and whatever he finds useful.

About your issue specifically: the best I can say is be careful. In your gut you should usually have a feeling one way or the other, you'll either feel guilty for doing it or you won't, at least if you're anything like me and if you're honest with yourself. Ultimately God will make sure you know what you need to know if you're open to Him. Until then, be sure you use this ability (or whatever you want to call it) for Godly things only, that way you'll have less doubt in the meantime about what you're doing.

Pray long and hard about it, i'll pray for you too.

My Christian son got interested in making things move when he wsa about your age. He could fold a piece of paper a certain way and balance it on top of a pin, and it would move when he put his feet on either side of it. He told me some people could do it with their hands, but he could only do it with his feet.

Anyway, I would suggest you share with your parents what you are experimenting with. With my son it turned out to be a passing curiosity, and I was glad he shared it with me. At about the same age, I became interested in studying hypnosis for a while. Talk about your interest and your questions with your parents if you can. You might find they understand more than you think.

Why is it that people quickly label things that are unknown to them the work of the devil. Most people will be surprised to know that everyone can work with energy (psi , ki, chi, whatever you want to call with it) you just have to practice like anything else. We all inherit these abilities it's just that we don't use them much.

I think it's awesome that another Christian is on the same extra-ordinary path that I am on. My advise is just keep your faith VERY close to your heart on your journey, because it can be a dangerous path. I agree that we shouldn't feel scared to experiment with our mind because you are focused on your own personal growth. Grow and become powerful if you know that your power will work in the name of God. With great power comes great responsibility.

Whatever done in faith is of God, whatever done in unbelief is sin.

Look that up.

Did you do this in faith, or in unbelief?

...

Did you do this in faith... and now can not believe you did this... and are doubting it...

Regardless, 'we move and live and have our being in God', to quote Paul as he spoke to the Greeks in Acts.

Jesus could turn stones into bread... and He can give us this power to... that does not mean we should...

I agree with the people above who are saying don't use it! If it doesn't build or edify the kingdom of God then dont use it because it can backfire.

It may not be your intention to use it in a negative way, but like the old saying goes, "Dont give the devil a ride because he will end up driving". Driving you to do things that u know are wrong.
For ex, If someone makes you mad............ (not saying that you would do it, but HAVE YOU SEEN THE MOVIE CARRIE?
