Whoever said people with a disability can't get married? I have a disability and I'm married. Two friends of mine each have a disability, and they are married to each other.

I say by choice of person, she can choose to remain single

Serious difficulties keeping that virtue.

It would seem you do have that gift. Too bad your pastor is too narrow minded to appreciate and use your gifting.

I've heard it several times, you will not be able to advise other couples and things like that if i still single. For example, I think that a couple who had sex before marriage can not advise others not to (It sounds very hypocrite).

I certainly can't argue with that. But it cuts both ways. Someone who got married in college, after his parents paid for college, has no business advising singles. That rules out a lot of pastors and elders.

Also, advising in general is way overrated. And I suspect it's often a weaselly way of saying "discipling."

The context of that verse answers the question.

So, is it a sin if a person wants to remain single even if that person knows that he does not have the gift that Paul mentions?

After all, from what I understand in this text, it is understood that burning with passion refers to contact with the opposite sex (eg, a couple).

If one person is unattractive and does not catch the attention of anyone of the opposite sex, despite feeling desires, if this person engages in other tasks to draw attention from desire does not solve the problem? (the same advice that is given to singles, single couples, and fiancees)

It is better to stay single until when and if God gives you a wife
with His blessing.
