Is It A Sin to touch?

It's a sin and a lack of self-control. I think God knows how difficult this crazy hormonal thing is with certain people though, and individual grace is given to each person. Only the Lord would know this amount which is probably far more than the seventy times seven for most men.
As the others have already said, a lot of other sins go along with it, and if a person can keep themselve pure from the world and and things of the flesh, then they are blessed with a great gift of grace from God. Some sins of the flesh seem to be impossible to overcome, but I know in my heart that they are not, and they become idols set before God.

Col 3:5 Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.

Well, I think it's personal choice. God tells me He is okay with it. For others, He may say differently. I focus on what God tells me and not what He tells anyone else. It's none of my business.

God went through a good deal of trouble giving us the bible. and nowhere do I read there that a thing is determined to be sin or not sin as a matter of personal choice. Gray areas are reserved for such things as whether to wear white socks or brown socks. the moral choice is neutral. Concerning such things as impure thoughts, God says in Proverbs 12:15, The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. and in Proverbs 14:12, There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Seems to me God has given us enough information in the bible, we should follow that instead of doing whats right in our own eyes.

Jesus said that. Notice the parts of the body He mentions - your eye and your hand. Understand that Jesus understood this struggle, but do you believe Jesus ever gave in to the temptation to touch? Of course not. We know He never sinned.

If you are enjoying sexually explicit thoughts about a woman that is not your wife then I believe it is sinful. It is a completely natural act, but to live by the carnal and fleshly nature is to be no different from an animal. Live by the Spirit, not by the flesh!

Even though this is old.. Its true.. I have trouble with masturbation all the time.. but I have to try my best not to fall into temptation.. I've fallen there.. but asked for forgiveness..

Check this.. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 ... Sex and its desires begin in one place, thats the mind. Sexual Immorality has no place among Christians and those who committ Sexual Immorality have no place in the kingdom of God. Now ask yourselves this "What Would Jesus Do?" And i know for a fact that our Lord would not touch. So why should you? And normally masturbation comes with a side of pornography and be honest masturbation is a different way of breeding fantasies that dont exist. If your christian you should stray from all sexual sin and therefore you wont have to question if masturbation is right or wrong. If your struggling with this, i urge you to talk to your youth pastor or even your pastor. And ask God to help you with pure thoughts. Ist mind over matter...dont give into your bodys desires but when you are tempted to touch or something like that...just pray...pray to resist temptation...then you will prevail over evil each time it tries to enter your heart..."Resist the Devil and he will fleee from you" (James 4:7) - Yeah i hope i helped. Dr. Phil, i feel for you man, ill also pray for you about this. Repent from your sins, i want to see you in heaven one day . Ask the Lord to make your thoughts pure. Remember where you want to be when Jesus comes back for his followers, and you dont want him to come back when your in the middle of masturbating. Ok man, your in my prayers.

Change your thoughts, fantasy isnt real, Stick with things that are, stick with Christ. Think about what he would do. If your a Christian, fantasy cant be all that you have, well it shouldnt, im sorry if it is.

yeh look, i'm not saying i see it clearly in the bible but i'd say that engaging in such activity is problematic because it take you away from the reality of life. i'm with d4christ on that one. i mean a married couple can be seperate for a long time due to work and if they have phone sex so be it or they think of each other and [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] so be it. but for some that is signs of lustful fleshy stuff and i get that view that take from the bible. that said i can see other people don't don't see it as a sin, hence they cannot draw a line if it's right or wrong. i don't think having a [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] does any good but i'm not going to say it's sinful, there are certainly better ways to spend time.

Its not written in the Bible. If it was a big issue it would habe been. But God can and does speak to us (though our conscience etc) .... if you feel its wrong then dont do it. But we are not under the law but grace!

Well since we do not know forsure, we should take that knowledge and stray from masturbation since we dont know if our Father considers it sinful or not. Its best to not do it and not have to worry about it being sinful or not because then it will have nothing to do with you.
