Oh boy...I used to be one of those religious people that read the bible faithfully and attended church and I really loved to do these things and still do. Until VERY recently, I thought I was okay and knew God...then I realized I had no prayer life...I had a reading/studying/talking life. I begin to pray sincerely to Yeshua and He showed me so many things and I know that this is just the beginning. I have fallen totally in love with Christ...

That is so true, Favored_one, God really reveals Himself to us through prayer.

Believe me, you are not alone. The "wait" is overwhelming. I feel the only way I have been able to stand this ache is by His strength. There's no way I could miss Him this much and still be getting through my day each day.

how do you feel about the Father?

I realize you mentioned Jesus as your husband and you long for him but is the main prayer life focused on Jesus? How do you pray and become intimate with the Father?

Maybe Agape love for the Father and Eros love for the Son? Could you explain this to me?

Well, I could get into a long, L O N G discussion over this one, but I will let His own word do the speaking.

Isaiah 62:5.."As a bridegroom (husband) rejoices over his bride (wife), so will your God rejoice over you."

Isaiah 54:5.."Your Maker is your Husband.... the Lord is His name."
(All old Testament scriptures about the Son, who is the Father made flesh) He and the Father are ONE. His name is called, "The Mighty God, the Everlasting Father"
Isaiah 9:6

Ezekiel 16 fully demonstrates the Father walking among Israel, waiting for her to mature into adulthood (ready for love) and then He enters into a covenant of marriage with Israel.

Jeremiah 2:2, He states,""Go and announce to Jerusalem, 'This is what the LORD says: I remember the unfailing loyalty of your youth, the love you had for me as a bride. I remember how you followed me into the desert, into a land that couldn't be farmed."

The book of Hosea is a depiction of the Lord's love for Israel and the individual believer.

Psalm 45 shows the wedding of the Messiah and Revelation 19:7, states.....

All I can tell you is that Yeshua and the Father are One. To see Yeshua is to see the Father and to see the Father is to see and love Yeshua. They are not divided.
I felt the Lord leading me years ago into a loving betrothal with Him. I see Father, Son and Spirit as ONE God and I relate to Yeshua as my Lord and my God. Thomas called Yeshua, "My Lord and my God."
To love Yeshua as a bride loves her husband is to love God as Husband. Look over some of the scriptures that are listed up in my post here, then ask Yeshua to open your understanding.

To have the Lord as Father, Brother and Friend IS biblical and IS intimate. I would never discount that very fact. However, Yeshua led me to love Him and know Him as my Bridegroom. He has always related to me in this way. I can only tell you how He has led me. You have to seek Him personally in this area and how He will reveal Himself to you individually.

I'll have to think about this. I've always seen Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit as separate entities. When I visit heaven, I meet with either the Father or the Son.
And even together.

I am trying to put your words and am trying to understand it on my grid.

Well, the most important thing EVER is that Yeshua leads you where He wants your heart. I can only tell you how He's revealed Himself to me personally. I hold onto that and never let go, no matter what anyone says.
Your heart is a private place for you and Him. He will reveal Himself IN you and to you in ways that only you and He can truly understand. It's yours with Him! Isn't that great? No one else may understand the "in's and outs" of how you and He live together and that's His gift to you.

I do my best to relay to others what Yeshua has revealed to me. I wish I had better ways of conveying that. He and I have things with one another and He's opened Himself to me in ways that I have no ways to communicating because it's not something that can be easily transmitted. It's like trying to tell another person what the ocean is like if they've never seen or touched the ocean. You have a jar of water FROM the ocean and it's only a small way for you to show them, but there's no way for them to KNOW what your heart feels, sees and knows unless they have the same experience with the Ocean.

It's like being in a private room with Yeshua and you and He have no one else around and you two talk and spend time alone and share your hearts together and then once you leave, someone on the outside of that room tries to ask you what you and Yeshua had with one another! You could give general terms, expressions and small examples, but how could there be any truly accurate way to give that person your experience in that room with Jesus?

Each heart knows itself in a way with Yeshua that another heart cannot know.
Proverbs 14:10 reads, "Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy." There are aspects of your life with Him that no matter how much you may have in common with another, it won't be completely known! That's His wonderful gift of individuality.

As far as God being one, that is something that He alone can reveal to you. I will give a few more scriptures outlining that, but only He can reveal to you so powerfully that He is One God and that Father, Son and Spirit are One in the same without being divisible. I cannot say enough to convince you of this because only He can have this area of your heart to work with, not me. I will only let His own word do the talking! Love ya!

Here are some scriptures that may help you as you seek Him:

1.)

<B>Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:17

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:18

(Yeshua is saying here: I am the Spirit! The Spirit of Christ. I have lived with you, now I myself will be IN you. I will come to you."

2.)

Jesus very clearly said that the another Comforter would be Father-Son as pure or Holy Spirit. However, He said that this was the same Spirit Who presently dwelled with them. After Pentecost this same "another" would dwell in them. From Paul we understand that He would live in the heart, spirit or mind of believers through the Word. Therefore, Jesus Christ is the Comforter Holy Spirit

3.)

Just as God the Father or invisible Spirit was Audible through Jesus

Now look again at John 14:10. The words of the Father proceeded out of Jesus Christ Who was full Deity in the flesh. Jesus did not speak of Himself but of and for the entire Godhead:

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. John 14:10

The "Father" was God Who is pure or holy Spirit. He used the mouth of His indwelled body to speak His Words which were "spirit and life."the teacing-reminding task of the Holy Spirit is identical to the task given by Jesus Christ to Paul. Paul did not deal with a separated Spirit and always equated "Spirit" to the Spirit of God or the Spirit of Christ.
4.)

Jesus made it clear that He and the Father were One. That is, the man Jesus possessed the Spirit of God Who laid aside His glory to be manifest or visible in the flesh. However, there is only one Father:

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? Malachi 2:10

It was prophesied that Messiah would be the Father:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:6

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9

Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. John 8:19

And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. John 8:23

</B>5.)"If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His" (Romans 8:9).
And what Spirit did Yeshua put in us? The Holy Spirit who IS the Spirit of Christ!

Here's another example:

Let's say that I have a FULL glass of water on my table. I take a portion of that water in my glass and pour 1/4 of it into another glass and repeat that again and take 1/4 of the water and pout it into another glass. I now have 3 glasses of water. All 3 glasses of water are of the ONE glass I started with. Now, let's take one of those glasses and put it in the freezer and make it solid. Then let's take the 3rd glass and boil it into steam.

Now I have 3 FORMS of the same glass of water that I originally had, correct?
Out of that one original glass of water I have steam, ice and liquid water. Does that mean because some became frozen that it ceases to be water? Does the steam cease to be water from the original glass? Nope!
Now, try to envision this. God is Spirit. He chooses to reveal Himself in different ways, but does not cease to be One God.
In the old Testament, He appeared as a burning bush to Moses, but did not stop being God in that form! He appeared as a Pillar of fire before the Israelites as they traveled through the dessert, but didn't cease to be God. Hope this helps and doesn't add confusion.
Like I said before, the only thing that matters is that you listen to Him alone as He reveals Himself to you more in this.

"And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father by whom all things were made;

I used to know a lot of Yeshuah, of Abba our Father, and of Precious Spirit. I could quote the scriptures and be as argumentative as the most argumentative....

Then...I met Yeshuah...and I came to know Him intimately. He introduced me to Abba our Father, and Precious spirit in flooded me...His Word came alive....I came alive and I fell in love with Him.

Now when people ask if I believe in Him, I reply,
"not only that, but I know Him."

May He be glorified forever!
