  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I wish I had not ever let fear direct my choices. (the source of many, if not all of my regrets)

Have you ever done something so horrific, you would rather no one know? ( I'm not asking for a baring of the soul here, just a yes or no will be fine)

Well, at 15, that's good to hear.

I used to write all the time. But, once it's written, I don't read it again, let alone give it a name. Reading what I write after the fact, either brings me pain, sorrow, or embarrassment, which is in effect also a form of pain.

What is one of your short term goals?

To get my husband to print out the page of family pictures to stuff into my Christmas cards, so I can get the rest of them mailed on Monday. (I've done the rest of the work, just waiting on him, and he's waiting on our son to get off the computer. He's been on there for hours! )
