Would it not be cool to start an intelligence agency for the people? Not just a press agency but a real down to it group where you could find out just about anything. Just think about it, if we got fifty people from different locations around the world that could report, we'd be loaded with information. Not just the stuff you get out of newspapers but real info. It probably sounds stupid and close to media but I think it would be cool. What do you people think?

Althought the Intelligence Agency sounds like an interesting idea, I must pose some questions about how the CFIA is going to be run and how it works.

1) How do you go about sending info about what is going on?
2) What is the overall purpose of the CFIA?
3) Shouldn't there be an application to become a member of the CFIA?
4) What type of info are we suppose to report about?
5) Is this a serious organization who will serve a purpose or is it just for fun?

There are some questions for thought, I have more, but will let u answer these first. God bless!

2) Getting information....
3) Would be cool to have one - but I think we should take everyone in and do the appl. just for fun - we shouln't be that strikt with that
4) dunno - never thought about that - maybe just anything that's seems to be of interest and that you don't get in the media all over the world....
5) I would say somewhere in between - we wont be serious special agents - just exchange serious (and not serious) information

Well, anyway I didn't come up with the idea so I don't know what all this should be like....the answers are just my suggestions...

I will start from San Luis Obispo County in california.

In will start with good news. In Atascadero, CA we had a brand new 4 star hotel just open up. It was built using only the facade of one of our historical buildings. The original building was a hotel but had been abandoned for as long as I can remember. Thats about 17 years. They have 2 diners. One is a semi formal bar and grill. I have personally eaten there with my wife and it is extremely good. Had the Filet mingon, always a pleasure. Not cheap though. Our meals were 86 dollars. There is also a formal dining. I have yet to try it. This is a boon to our little city of 24000. It is meant to draw wine aficianados (this county is wine country). Hopefully it will attract tourists and possibly spark a little growth.

Bad news.
In Avila beach Ca, we recently had a father stab and kill his son while only wounding his wife. I believe he was estranged from them. Sadly the youth was contemplating becoming a priest when he grew up. We will never know what impact he could have had on the Lord's Kingdom. They did catch the father and he is currently being held. There are some psychological problems. The wife is doing well.

News from Austria:

We had a lot of snowfall the last 2 days...parts of the country are snowed in...at patrs without electricity.....lots of tourists not able to get to the hotel or get back home again....weather is going to get better now....

politics the same as usally...they get paid far too much for doing nearly nothing the whole day...

Yesterday was the ball at the Vienna Opera...lots of celebrities there (including Geri Halliwell)....

Nothing else worth reporting

What do you think this application should contain...would suggest to tell us where person is from (and maybe a little test about the country/place that is going to be watched to fill out - kind of questionarie about capital, inhabitants,...)....to know where we've got people looking for information....

so far we're watching:

Austria (that's me watching)
San Luis Obispo County - Calefornia (ptgd1st)
somewhere in America (Tom Dilerd)

I think we just try to get as many places as possible...will keep adding to this list.....

Very interesting point never thought about that before as I've been growing up getting information from everywhere not only out of the newspaper....

This is pretty cool, an intelligence agency! Can I join? If I pass the background check, I can monitor the San Francisco Bay Area and the central San Joaquin Valley (I'm constantly back and forth between the two) if you need an agent there...
