Insomnia and faith.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I'll pray for you! Ugh..that's so difficult. :/ But, at least you do have God! At least your here and didn't just throw Him down the toilet, and you still have faith that He can deliver you!
You know, I'll tell you, I used to suffer from intense bouts of anxiety and panic attacks...I had the opposite problem, where I just wanted to go to sleep and never wake up until the world around me stopped spinning.
I felt utterly hopeless, but I kept on praying...and I had friends who were praying for me...and I felt like my prayers weren't being answered, but He answered every single prayer. Even the ones I forgot I prayed until He answered them!
And now, what I once thought was unachievable, through God I had a clear mind, a joyful heart, and an inner peace that I couldn't even imagine before! So keep it up, stay strong, and I will guarantee you that God will come through for you, and help you make your life into the best life possible...it just takes longer than what seems bearable...but you can be strong! And again, I'll be praying for you too!

There is NOTHING wrong with using Marijuana IF it is benefiting you.
If Marijuana is helping you sleep, or cope with your insomnia, BY ALL MEANS CONTINUE TO DO IT.

This is often the case.
I can assure you the Marijuana is MUCH better then any pill a doctor could give you.

God gave us marijuana and its strong medicinal value to help us deal with things just like you are experiencing!

That's why we have such an amazing God, he left nothing out from what we may need on this earth.

I also recommend that when you go to sleep, you close your eyes and count to 1800.
When you reach about 3-400, your thoughts will start to overwhelm you to the point where you will not be able to continue counting.
After this it will become difficult to even focus enough to count to 10.
THIS IS A GOOD THING.
Continue trying to count. If you mess up, start again at one.
Don't give it too much thought though.
Dont open your eyes, and try to move as LITTLE as possible. Ignore anything your body tells you to do, such as twitching or scratching or moving positions.

Eventually your mind will become overwhelmed with thoughts, and you will begin to dream.

Your faith in God is strong guessing from your story. God will show you your "GOOD FUTURE" soon. He may have put you through what your going through as it may help your future. Think positive, Be positive.

As for smoking weed for your insomnia try meditating while under the effects. It will help you relax.
