Like how communists infiltrated the us government over decades ? They 'acted' nice, until activated !Basically if they’re an upstanding citizen in every way except for their legal status then we should give them a pathway to citizenship.
Surely you don't believe that it is loving to let murderers and child rapists in before those who have worked so hard for years to do things right?A person who loves would let that person in, even in front of them.
It's difficult enough to deal with the law-breakers.No. There’s no law that says they have to be as cruel as they’re going about it now.
So typical to respond in this manner......We can love strangers while not breaking the law.
How many of these illegal entrants have you allowed to come onto your property or in your home and stay with you as long as they want?
That is what it's like when Biden allowed millions in illegally.
If any of us came onto your property or in your home illegally, I'm pretty sure you would have the authorities remove us.
That too is what it is like when ICE is trying to remove illegal entrants and send them back home.
Oh please, this is so unbelievable.Surely you don't believe that it is loving to let murderers and child rapists in before those who have worked so hard for years to do things right?
Then what in the world are you talking about?Oh please, this is so unbelievable.
We should strengthen immigration laws and asylum laws so that we don't have another influx of waves of illegal immigrants. If all undocumented immigrants are deported from the USA, what happens next? Will that solve the problem?
A subsequent president may choose a different approach. President Biden granted temporary status to over 500,000 individuals, which is allowed under presidential authority. President Trump revoked temporary status, which is also permitted by law.
Are we going to do this every four years.
I understand the reasons some conservatives are skeptical of immigration policy and hesitant to support any form of amnesty or pathway to citizenship. When President Reagan granted amnesty to three million undocumented individuals, it was with the understanding that Congress would subsequently reform immigration laws, secure the border, and implement measures to prevent illegal entry or visa overstays.
However, none of this has occurred. Instead, over the past 40 years, political actions have dominated, with immigration frequently used as a political tool during elections.
The question is, if all undocumented immigrants were to be deported—assuming that is even logistically possible—what would be the next steps?
What steps should we take to ensure that we are not in the same position thirty years from now?
Disclosing that someone came into this country illegally, on an open-to-the-world forum, might not be wise. What they all did was claim asylum then became US citizens. This is how it was , until now.
..and that is fine when it is done legally. This country heavily relies on immigrant labor.
Im not twisting anything because Im asking if thats what you meant when you said "isn't God able to meet their needs if they are legit right where they are or even in another country."Twisting what was said because what was said didn't fit the narrative is not a good call.
This post is about ILLEGAL immigration.
The US isn't the savior of illegal entrants.
That doesn't mean immigrants aren't welcomed here. of course all of them are, if they come the legal route.
I have some friends who have done so and even they don't agree with what the Biden administration did in allowing millions in illegally.

It is a good way to shut down a reasonable , truthful and honest conversation. Anyway, I am going to ovetlook it because it defeats any possibility of getting to the truth of the matter.
In full disclosure...
Everyone in my family on my mother's side is an immigrant from Cuba. All of them fled the Castro regime, one even tried to swim for freedom but was caught and thrown into prison. My mother and father single handedly brought the family over one by one. Some came through illegal channels, some came on a Visa. What they all did was claim asylum then became US citizens. This is how it was , until now.
But what mostly erks me is the hypocrisy.
This country heavily relies on immigrant labor. But I'm rather weary defending my position to those who do not see or know the value of those who are the backbone of this country.
Is He not able to meet their needs right where they are?Im not twisting anything because Im asking if thats what you meant when you said "isn't God able to meet their needs if they are legit right where they are or even in another country."
This idea of God meeting peoples needs sounds like a general principle. Is it? Or does it just apply where immigration is concerned? And if its just about immigration, where did you get that idea?
So if we see someone in a Shadrach situation, we can keep on walking and not make an effort because we've learned the lesson that God will take care of them? He is able to meet their needs. Is He not able to meet their needs right where they are?
The US isn't the savior. Yet the Left leaning act like it is.
There are so many Biblical accounts of people in horrible situations and God is there for them. Think of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
Which are the illegal immigrants that Trump is letting alone, except for a few show raids...and that is fine when it is done legally.
When it is not; it opens up the door to human tracking, or sub par wages, which in essence amounts to slavery.
No He wasn't.
He always had a home that God could have snapped His fingers and He'd be there with His Father.
This earth wasn't His home, so He wasn't a "displaced immigrant".
That's some "progressive" religion like talk
Right now this Administration is going after the worst of the worst; but they are working very hard to save the children that the Biden Administration allowed to be put into bondage.Which are the illegal immigrants that Trump is letting alone, except for a few show raids.
"..who have been here awhile"Jesus was an unwelcomed foreigner the whole time he was here, even more so than as an immigrant child in Egypt. Hospitality to strangers and the unwelcomed is an essential virtue for Godly people. How you treat the least of these is how you treat me, Jesus said.
Yes, let us enforce the law but do so in the most humane way possible, especially in this case. Many people trying to come here are desperate for a better life. We should understand wanting a good life.
What's inhumane is deporting folks who have been here awhile, have families, are working, and have no criminal record. There is a much better way. Deporting teenagers who are not doing anything is simply obscene. As a citizen and a Christian, I find the callous nature of current deportations appalling.
"..who have been here awhile"
This post is about the recent 4 years of Biden.
Wanting a good life is necessary to stop (or at least recognize and if possible deal with) those who were simply paid to leave their home-countries to get to the usa for a "hidden agenda" no matter what it was/is.Yes, let us enforce the law but do so in the most humane way possible, especially in this case. Many people trying to come here are desperate for a better life. We should understand wanting a good life.
