I agree that stereotyping people is wrong. All I am suggesting is that there is a difference between unfairly stereotyping people and using wise discernment. My only intention is to ask clarifying questions to better understand your point of view so that hopefully we can find a middle ground. At least, respectfully disagree. Based on the responses provided, would it then be accurate to say that it is wrong for women to be afraid when a homeless man approaches them at night? I would say that she is not stereotyping people, she is using wise discernment for her own protection. Can we at least agree on that?

Constant postings about individual crimes committed by individuals who happen to be immigrants are an attempt to instill hatred and prejudice on everyone in a demographic group based on the actions of a few criminals.

Show me real statistics from a credible news source. If I see a statistic like "37% of rapes in Chicago are committed by undocumented immigrants" I will take notice.

But when I see post after post after post about what one person did one time--and, BTW, that person is an undocumented immigrant--I get angry.

Yeah I don’t even know what the purpose of this thread is. Are we supposed to be appalled by the fact that the guy killed someone in an auto accident? Are we supposed to be appalled because someone speculates that California might not comply with the order? Or are we supposed to be appalled that the guy driving the car was an immigrant? I agree with you 100%! The fact is that American citizens kill more people and commit more crimes than any other demographic in America. That fact is indisputable.

You do realize that on average 109 people die in auto accidents every single day in America, right? Why the sympathy for the victim’s family who was killed by an immigrant? What about the other 40,000+ families per year?

They come in again - felony
They murder of kill someone - felony

They should be jailed and then deported.
