Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. IJWTS - At least they don't force us into "under 30" and "30+" groups or otherwise use specific ages. That's the worst, IMO. Around the time I turned 30, I was checking out a new church that happened to set the cutoff at 30. It's kind of hard to meet single women when you're the youngest guy in a group that ranges in age from maybe 50 to 75. The kicker is that the age tends to adjust with mine. Like when I was 25, the cutoff was 25. When I turn 40, I'll probably find myself in a situation where the cutoff is 40. It's a conspiracy, lol.Next month according to this site, I will be a "mature single"I don't wanna be in my later stage. I'm a toys r us kid. I'LL NEVER BE MATURE!!! YOU HEAR ME?!

There were two Sunday school groups for single adults. One for over 30, and another for under 30. I had recently turned 30, and was new to the Church. Although I doubt they would have checked my age, and I could easily have passed for 25 or so, the whole situation seemed wrong to me.What do you mean the cutoff was 30? hah, thanks but of all the denominations they are the least likely to be welcoming to me. also i have a bad history with catholics anyway. no offense, you're really cool, but i've only ever met one other catholic that is like you though.go to your local Catholic Church

even when i was a total christian i found that most churches no matter the denomination are not welcoming. add on "sins" and it's just not worth the hassle.yeah.... there are a little over 1 billion Catholics.... and a lot of them are jerks.... sorry about the bad history......
the Church SHOULD be a "hospital for sinners" we should be welcoming to everyone
I went with my roommate to his Catholic church last weekend. They refused to let me participate in several activities, even though I'm a strong Christian and have my faith in the same Christ they do, I just wasn't as special as them. That's what I dislike the most about them. They say they hate the separation between protestants and themselves, but they're the ones who keep widening the gap and thinking they have special authority with God. We're all part of the same body and when they start to realize that, maybe we could all unite again under the same banner.
