  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS wow. This couple moved in with the ex-husband because of the crappy economy.

LOL, yeah. That's not happening with me. Well, unless I was drugged for two weeks and in my stupor agreed to it. Although it wouldn't last long... after I came out of my stupor I'd be charged with 2 counts of 2nd degree murder

IJWTS - GOOD LUCK!!! I am on page 214 of mine.... and so close to finishing I can taste it but these are the hardest chapters to write!!!!

Take your time and make it good, Red! Are you going to do a series or a sequel, or just a stand-alone novel?

I haven't written this many pages on one story for years. It's usually just one or two pages and then I sputter out of ideas. But this one's actually taking shape pretty well. I can only write while I'm at work (I'm too tired at night), so I can only get about a page a day done. But at least it keeps me inspired and wanting to continue.

It's a series, I already have the next two books fleshed out... but there has to be at least 4 books, if not 5. Because the story doesnt end after book 3, there is still so much more to this story.

IJWTS - Wow Red, you've got a lot in your brain, don't you? I usually can't think that far ahead with a story. I can see like, this scene and that scene, and this other scene way down the line somewhere...the trouble is giving it a good, attention-grabbing beginning and development, and threading it all together. At least, that's where I struggle. Luckily, I have a good idea of where this story is going and what's going to happen. But honestly, A LOT of the fun for me is writing by 'the seat of my pants'...I'll start a scene and not know where it's going, and it'll take on its own shape from my fingers. Awesomeness!
