  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS the weather sucks. It's supposed to be in the 50's and 60's and it's in the 90's. What the heck??? I hate summer as it is, don't steal my spring away from me!!

IAWTS I can't wait to see my theater peeps again. May 18th is our annual meeting. I'm counting the days.

I just wanted to say, it figures everywhere else is having crappy weather when NY is actually having AMAZING weather!

Don't worry though, we'll get all your bad weather in a few days, and you'll get our good weather, then it'll stay like that until winter.

IJWTS I know, I have a friend in upstate NY and he was bragging about the perfect 60ish weather. Hmph.

Perfect weather to me is anything between 20 and 70, preferably sunny. I need to move north, I know. I keep hoping God will send me a millionaire with a big chateau in the Maine woods.

IJWTS I don't actually take the test for another month.... 2 days before I leave for Cabo to be exact. So, hopefully I will be celebrating.

I need the certification for a new job I want, which is teaching in a program for court appointed juveniles in a boot camp setting.

IJWTS-I am not looking forward to tomorrow. Tomorrow is my grandma's funeral and it just so happens to be the 19th anniversary of my father's death too. Part of me is glad to be around my family tomorrow for support, but part of me dreads it because they are an interesting bunch to say the very least.
