  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS - I wish I never listened to that podcast this morning A review published this week says that there are 2 mTOR complexes which do different things. Which means I have to rewrite 1/3 of my report, print it out, get it rebound, and copy a new CD. Before Friday noon.

Can I just pretend I never heard it?

IJWTS I hate the management of this clinic. Not the people who manage...the way they manage.

I had to take some days off last week because of Josh's spring break from school. My leave was initially approved, now the clinic manager is trying to revoke that and give me a hard time about it. She even had the GALL to question why I didn't just "take him to my parents". Excuse me? How is THAT her business? My father is in his 80's and my mom still works. I am seriously ticked. This girl (yes, she's a girl, she's younger than I am) is one of the rudest, coldest, most superior people I've ever worked under. This isn't the first time she's ticked me off acting like a freakin' queen instead of a manager who's supposed to be there to help us.

*sigh*
