  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I suppose. It' not like it really matters where I post it. I wont go into detail though.

I've been having an urge to go on a mission trip. I feel God putting in my heart to go out somewhere and serve Him. And this is a big deal for me because I haven't felt this way about anything in a while... but I want to be careful. I'm not 100% sure it's God placing it in my heart or just me wanting to go. So I'm going to pray a whole lot to see if I can get some answers and see where God is taking me.

I've always wanted to go on a missions trip. If your family will let you go it could be a great experience.

My mother is all for letting me go wherever God sends me. My dad is a little more attached to his "little girl", though. My mother was even talking to me about joining YWAM which would send me away for months at a time. My dad was a little more hesitant at that idea. So we'll see. I would really like to experience it though.

Do you mean life is busy? I know if I did the YWAM's thing I'd have to set school and work aside for a while.

Yeah, that why I'm thinking of getting serious about it during the summer and not taking summer classes like I planned to do. My dad would like me to stay in school though since, if all goes well and God permits, I'll be graduating with my associates degree in December. But I'm afraid I'll change my mind if I wait.

I love the thrill of the chase... being hunted, but make no mistake, I do what is necessary and without hesitation.

eta: I should clarify, this isn't about love, lust, or any sort of relationship; I mean the nitty gritty, actually being hunted.

I don't look like much, and that's exactly how I've built it all.

A good guard dog will let you in, but he won't let you out... I enjoy the same principle, you may get close to me; but, there are tons of eyes which control every facet of a vastly connected network (one which can easily find out everything about you, everything).
