I'm not a mom but warm tea, sucking on hard candy, and even gummy bears help.Hey all you moms out there, what's the best thing for a sore throat?
warm tea?? Hmm...yeah I'm sucking on cough drops and it's not soothing anything despite the wrapper saying they will. False advertisingI'm not a mom but warm tea, sucking on hard candy, and even gummy bears help.
Yeah, just try drinking lots of it with little to no sugar.warm tea?? Hmm...yeah I'm sucking on cough drops and it's not soothing anything despite the wrapper saying they will. False advertising
I will try the tea thing!! Thanks!!
I always have warm water, salt and aspirin when I have a sore throat. Teas, sodas and coffees are all diarhetics though (sucks the fluids out of you) so just remember to drink lots of water as well to keep hydrated - otherwise you'll get dehydrated and sick all over again.

Soothing substances:or anyone who may know
And another one bites the dustThank you Jesus for the ignore list.
Also, I am excited to have dinner with some of my siblings and finally see Real Steel tonight
How about Ricola, Nyquil, Vicodin plenty of tea???Soothing substances:
Herb tea, very warm (not hot) with a good amount of honey stirred in.
Hot jelloa cup of very warm water with a couple spoons of jello mix added.
I have found vanilla ice cream to be very soothing on sore throats.
Take lots of echinacea and vitamin c.
Finally, it is quite vile-tasting, but three tablespoons of apple-cider vinegar and a couple tablespoons of maple-syrup of honey added to a cup of water. I usually use maple syrup (well, artificially-flavoured) since I drink it cold (and quickly), but if you decide to have it warm, then honey might be a better option depending on your preference.
Also, if you can get in contact with some granulated xylitol (or find it in gum), that coats your mouth and throat, deterring cavities, but also protecting your throat from infection.
