They're undergoing a lot of changes. Pauler made an announcement about it the other day.IJWTS is anyone else unable to view their profile/visitor messages? I haven't been able to since lastnight and it's getting uber frustrating.
Nope, but I think it's really adorable that you do.Does anyone else read children's books when they are not feeling well?
Merry Christmas Stinky Face- Made things better.
I would just like to say that using the autonumber function in order to apply a unique identification number to sightings was perhaps the most well intentioned silly thing in the world considering how many volunteers of varying technological skills are left to their own devices when it comes to putting data in. In fact someone really should've considered the fact that people can and will decide deleting records is a far better option than actually leaving a note asking if someone can hop along and correct them, which seems logical, unless you know how the autonumber function works and are quite aware that the particular version you're using does not reset itself after compacting and fixing it requires far more effort than is needed for something that just needs to be identifiable, and then people get their brain in a twist because they cannot comprehend that the sightings numbers do not need to be sequentially in order providing we can link effort lines to them, which also results in staying behind three hours after work ended in order to renumber the paper copies, leave a nice note for the next person on explaining the anonymous deletions and the number gap, and then making a nice sign reading "do not delete records" to blue tac on the computer screen, it's wonderful.
let me guess. You're using Microsoft access. Abandon all hope all ye who attempt to maintain consistent data in a multiuser environment with Access.I would just like to say that using the autonumber function in order to apply a unique identification number to sightings was perhaps the most well intentioned silly thing in the world considering how many volunteers of varying technological skills are left to their own devices when it comes to putting data in. IJWTA -
Is anyone else having difficulty looking at their own profile or User CP? Every time I look I get a "Database needs prayer" page...but only when I click those links - loading the message board itself presents no problems.
