If we are made in the image of God, where does homosexuality fit?

I was trying to be polite
I think I gave up on it w/ a few around here......

:o
I see rampant false teaching that seems to continue
getting more drastic every month... now there's no fall
of man... others claim Adam & Eve weren't literal.
on and on it goes.

Pretty soon, Jesus Himself will be mere allegory

Um, we Catholics don't believe in a literal fall anymore, so you might need to work on your explanation a bit.

My sister is Catholic, and thoroughly studied theology. She believes in the fall of man. It's in the catechism.

Unitarianism is a bit of a step in that direction.

It seems not to be any issue today to just decide on a doctrine
and then demand that your denomination believes that too -
just redefine anything you choose anymore.

(but no wonder tho, as absolute's continue being stripped from
culture)

It sounds cliche but the only evidence from that story is that the main characters are not called Adam and Steve, and when the man was seen as lonely he was given a woman, but am guessing that is not the type of evidence being saught. Works for me.

Possibly, we wont ever know because this is clearly not a perfect world.
You're right it isn't but how is it that we can't decide what would and wouldn't be in a perfect world?
Are you going to tell me because a perfect world doesn't exist that we are incapable of understanding what makes this world imperfect?

If not then how would we know this one isn't perfect?

That doesn't shed a bit of light on the subject what so ever.
There's a reason for everything and far be it for a simple statement as broad as that to clear it all up.

Nadiine, just because you don't like the overwhelming evidence, doesn't make it false teaching. Yes Adam and Eve weren't literal, because mankind evolved. They were not born from a single man and woman 6,000 years ago. Sorry, science trumps mythology.

I LOVE the overwhelming evidence

What's proven false is that great, great grandpappy was
a baboon

No evolutionist believes your great grandpappy was a baboon.

I don't expect them to change it to God as Creator becuz
in Romans 1 they're in denial of God to begin with.

This isn't an evolution/creation thread anyways, so I'm not going to
continue on this topic.
