Jimmy Carter has said, and I agree, that the U.S.’ extreme favoritism toward Israel in the peace process makes us impede progress instead of acting as an effective mediator. At the same time, Americans are in denial and have their heads buried in the sand about the way overt and covert U.S. foreign policy oppresses the Arab/Muslim world on the behalf of our Oil industry. Barack Obama will not pursue that same kind of foreign policy, therefore he will be branded as anti-Semitic in some political circles in the U.S.

I don’t know what you mean about trusting Obama regarding Israel, but if you prefer the present extreme favoritism for Israel and don’t see any problem in how we treat the Arab world, then you probably would prefer McCain to Obama. But I think McCain would eventually disappoint you in other ways. We are all going to have to think bigger than just one issue in this election.

My wife is also a Clinton supporter because she is Hispanic. There is a political rivalry between Blacks and Hispanics that regrettably, and I think unwisely makes Hispanics not trust Barack Obama. As I said, we all need to think bigger this time.
