The OT is full of human rights atrocities, deaths, and pointless slaughtering of animals. Children today born with leukemia, "locked-in syndrome," brutal torture, murder, starvation.
All these things would make sense if god wasn't good. How do we know God is good? The Bible. Who wrote the Bible? God. How do we know God isn't lying?
Do we ever get to hear Satan's side of the story? No. God said he was proud and that's why he was booted from heaven. Even if that were true, is that such a crime?
How many people did Satan kill in the Bible? 0. God? Over 2 million. Given those statistics, is it really fair to say Satan is the "bad" one? Could it be that Satan really has his own side of the story we should hear?
