Your comment 'first death' proves that death does not mean 'cease to exist'.I'm not ignoring them. I believe the second death death is everlasting and eternal, unlike the first death which ends with resurrection.
Thats all well and good. But its not the question being asked in this thread. I dont have a problem with God requiring a perfect standard for entrance into Heaven. But why is hell the only other option?it's on Youtube and called the Good-O-Meter.
Basically what we're trying to get across is that going to Heaven is not something you can achieve on your own whatsoever...A man would have to live the absolute perfect life, sin-free, to be good enough to get to Heaven on his own.
That leads to the core question of this thread. Why would God make it that hell is the only other "choice"? Why not oblivion? We choose Heaven or Hell.
There's somewhere besides Heaven or Hell? But why is hell the only other option?
Because 'oblivion' is not a Biblical option. That leads to the core question of this thread. Why would God make it that hell is the only other "choice"? Why not oblivion?
Why do you think that?Your comment 'first death' proves that death does not mean 'cease to exist'.

If you had continued reading you would have found this. That is what the bible says.
2 Thessalonians 1:9 says "these pay the penalty of eternal destruction" not eternal torture in hell.
Romans 6:23 says "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our lord."
John 3:16 says the choice is eternal life or perishing.
I know, I agree with that. The wrath means that they will not see life. That's what I've been saying all along. If you had continued reading you would have found this.
John 3:36 (NASB)
36 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."
Read it again. The wicked " will not see life" but " the wrath of God abides on him." They still exist.I know, I agree with that. The wrath means that they will not see life. That's what I've been saying all along.

Abides | Define Abides at Dictionary.com
Contradiction. The wrath of God cannot ABIDE on those who don't exist. They will not continue to exist.
The wages of sin is death. The bible says so. Because of fear, people often deny that the result of sin is death, even though this is made clear throughout the bible. Whether anyone wants to accept it or not, the death penalty for sin is just, because God is just. Who is man to question God or his justice, when God's understanding is infinite and man's is so limited? Remember, God knows every heart and every thought and motive thereof just as he knows the numbers of hairs on every head. Therefore I know that he knows what everyone deserves better than us. If he sees it just to resurrect evil doers and then send them to their second death which destroys them forever with their evil, then there is no questioning that no matter how you look at it. You are mortal man, he is God; do not question his justice. There will be no one that dies the second death that didn't deserve it. I say that even though technically all sinners deserve death, God offers his grace and eternal life to all who will accept it. Let not man in his self-righteousness consider him more righteous than God in anything to scoff at God about anything including the wages of sin being death and not eternal torture just because they think that God should torture people against His own nature as God. God has given every evil doer plenty of opportunities to repent of their sin which leads to death and be saved through the name of Jesus Christ and be given eternal life instead of death. What excuse has anyone? God is perfect, therefore so is his justice. His word says that the wages of sin is death. It doesn't matter which way you look at it, apocolypticremedy999, you are not the omniscient God who knows every secret hidden in the thick pitch black darkness of corruption.
Yes, there is a reason. Your opinion about God's justice does not make that "God's Justice." You said "Who is man to question God?" Why couldn't I say the very same thing? You imply that if I disagree with YOU actually I'm disagreeing with God. But I'm not. So turnabout is fair play.Is there a reason you used my same words to make your point? I look at that as mimicking and mocking. I wish you wouldn't have done that. I honestly can't stand it when people plagerize my words and twist them.
You keep your views points whether you like or dislike the concept of hell, but do not twist my words.
