  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Idk where to put this. But i need an accountability partner bad.

Im M19. I got addicted to p*** when i was 7. And…spiraled from there. Ive been trying to stop for years and Ive honestly just been getting worse.

I hate it, i hate myself, i hatebthat i give in so easily. I need someone, preferably someone struggling with the same issue, so i too can be of service. So we can help each other overcome this.

You need professional help probably (addiction treatment, therapy/counselling, etc.) .. talk to your doctor or Pastor, they would be able to send you in the right direction.

The Pastor wouldn't charge for at least talking about it? He might direct you to online programs that are affordable/free. You have a full-time job? Live with parents or by yourself?

See your Pastor ... don't be ashamed ... it will help. Online programs exist, but you need to be willing. Also be explicit about heading in the right direction; e.g. your profile icon doesn't exactly radiate peace and tranquillity for a 24-year old male - maybe update that to something more positive?
