  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Have any of you ever listened to any of the I Am Second testimonies? You can listen to them on their website or on YouTube. Anyways, they are so inspirational and amazing and I want to know what everyone thinks.
My favorite is Brian Head Welch.
It is such a huge reminder than we are all second to Christ.

I feel proud to say this, but Brian Head Welch is my youth pastor's cousin. Pretty shweet. Never met him though... And Brian's testimony is awe inspiring. Its just awesome how he turned from a demonic lifestyle to a Godly one.

I love I Am Second. They're meeting up with people from my church the saturday before the superbowl (I live in Dallas) and we're going out to Arlington Square (where the Dallas Cowboys stadium is, the place they're having the superbowl at) to hand out water to people and pray for people and things like that. The coolest thing about that, though, is that ESPN reporters and news stations are going to be there. Glory be to God!
