If you surrender to the will of God and don't rebel against Him. If you humbly accept what He wants for you. If you live your life according to the teachings and principles in the Bible, then someday you will realize that what God did for you was the best for you after all.

Much of the suffering we endure can be avoided by living stable responsible lives, being careful who we keep company with, taking care of our bodies and keeping all things and priorities in perspective, troubles will come anyway but we can do our part and live in such a way to reduce the pain we go through.

After being a Christian, we still have to live in this world.
But this world is full of suffering.
How to carry on our lives in this world?
What the Bible teaches us?

I will put my hope on God to deliver me from all dangers.
Second Corinthians is chock full of good stuff on this theme, one of my favorites is ...

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
(2Co 12:9-10)

You raised a good question! I think it is important to strengthen our walk with God to live in this world. I encourage you to start the habit of daily Bible reading and prayer if you have not already done so. Our Lord desires to speak to us through His Word, telling us what He is like and showing us how to live in a way that pleases Him. Scripture is our most valuable source of guidance! Also, I suggest you to attend church regularly – surround yourself with people who would support you in your spiritual journey. I just said a prayer for you – I trust that God will guide you as you seek to learn and grow in Him. Good luck!
