Oh, and I should mention... If you know a guy feels insecure about something... don't tease him about that. My example of saying "wussy" would NOT be appropriate for a guy who thinks he is too skinny or something.

But seriously, you can't do tone of voice over the internet... so, perhaps people don't understand how obvious it would be that I was meaning the opposite if I called a guy "wussy"...

It's very easy to domesticate a man. You just have to know how to do it and then it becomes second nature.
lol... A woman cannot domesticate a man. She may be able to tame him to a degree, to the extent of smoothing out some of his rough edges, but helping around the house etc. has to come from himself, his sense of duty as a man, and his love for his wife.

Women are generally less receptive to this kind of jesting (we take offense to easily about some things).

I highly disagree. I put on a "ultra-cocky jock" voice that makes it EXTREMELY obvious when I'm being sarcastic, and 95 percent of women I bust out the voice on, get that I'm joking with my teases. The ones who don't, I get really annoyed with and quit talking to them, cuz I make it so obvious that they'd have to be stupid not to get it.

LOL, I have a feeling you and I would get along just fine.

The "ultra-cocky jock" voice is irresistable... I mean, I cannot resist coming back with a sarcastic put-down in return.

And, it really is all in the tone of voice you use.

Of course, I've been known to misuse my wit at times, as well. Some guys don't just assume the "ultra-cocky jock voice", they are, in fact, "ultra-cocky jocks". Those guys get the same treatment, only they don't realize they're getting the treatment... and I laugh up my sleeve at them. But it's sooo much better if it is two-way banter.

Haha I'm with you there. I love being able to go back and forth with the smacktalk, and laugh about it. Do the real jocks get all offended when you treat em the same way?

No, they usually just get confused.

Very true.

goiong in to thinking you can do this and thatt to a man or women-- is just not smart.

I think many us think this, we try to change or make people into something they are not.

For me, I just be me and if it is meant to be he will be attracted and stay interested in me, my life and vice versa.

That might work.

If the guy is a non-Christian. lol
Oooooh, I can guarantee it would work for many Christian guys, too - they just won't act on that attraction.

Aight, I'm gonna read your OP and then I'll reply and give my actual comments.

EDIT:

Yeah, this one is huge. Women don't realize how terrified many guys are of them, and of being rejected, nowadays. For a lot of guys, going up to him, smiling genuinely, saying "hi," and introducing yourself can do SO much to attract him. I know for me, (and I know I'm not the only one!) nothing is more attractive in a woman than a certain amount of assertiveness, especially if I get the clue that, who knows - she could be interested.

Dating but not exclusive yet. Unsure where things are going.

Oh man I'm just making this up as I go along. Sounds good though lol!
You could also add to that "'taking a break' with a significant other, but not necessarily broken up and seeing other people." Although that's usually pretty much just a euphemism for "broken up" anyway.
